“I will admit, I have been to CarMax before to test drive cars & I ended up buying somewhere else because the one I wanted got sold & I couldn't find one comparable. I came in today wanting to look at a few smaller SUVs to see if my roommate (who is short & disabled) and myself (I am very tall) could fit comfortably in them. I had also mentioned that I would like to test drive a Chevy & a Ford I had seen on the website. The guy who checked us in was great & he let us roam around the lot for a bit first. Then when we came in & met with the sales rep Sariah, she was initially kind, but seemed frustrated with us that we needed her to take us outside & show us a couple of cars that were locked. She didn't walk with us, she walked ahead of us, and when we walked back in she completely deserted us in the parking lot, when we got into the building she was chatting it up with her coworker friends & didn't even bother to say goodbye to us, follow up about the cars or anything.... And we never got to even do the test drive. This location used to have good customer service. I get that people these days probably buy & trade on the spot or within 7 a week or something, but some of us have to do research first. I'm sad that this CarMax location isn't what it used to be. I was really looking at trading my car in with you guys this time & really interested in the Chevy Trax or the Nissan Kicks we tried today, and I might still come back, but if I do I will make sure & get a different sales person. Customer service goes a long way. The better the service, the more cars you'll sell.”

“Yall have no idea how hard it’s been for me to find a decent used car. Today I took home a beautiful Ford SUV, covered with maxcare up to 100,000 miles, AND GAP insurance. They made the process so easy! I’ll never buy a used car anywhere else I’m so happy for my purchase and my reliable vehicle 🖤”

“I owned a white 2005 Scion XB since it was new. The first car we ordered, was a 2914 Scion XB and had 101,000 miles on it and looked like new but the seats were low and when we test drove it, when we stopped the whole car shook... we think the motor mounts were bad, and we told them, and they said they would look into it and let us know. We said if it got fixed we would buy it. They took our info and told us they would update us. We went went home. We shopped for another one to test drive and found a 2014 red one with only 51,000 miles and requested them to send it from Georgia to San Antonio TX and they did it for free. We made an appointment to test drive it. It looked brand new, had an engine with more power, and lots of upgraded from mine. We test drove it and loved it. They had it prepped while we gave them the info they needed to finance it. They bought my Scion XB and used it to supplement my down payment. They answered all our questions and had a fast smoother process. Our loan was approved and we left with our excellent purchase. They notified us of a recent recall and free replacement for the airbags and brakes and recommended we contact Toyota and we did. They have the replacement parts and scheduled an appointment. Overall, the whole process took just a bit over an hour and a half. They were polite, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our hour and a half ride home. They were very reasonable.”
