āI refuse to go to any other dealership. I am now on my second lease with my new 2025 Grand Cherokee. I was able to work with the same dealer Brandon and he made it super smooth and fast switch from my first lease to now my second. Like my first lease he helped work with me on the second and helped me keep it where I am able to had the Jeep I wanted while able to afford it. Five stars all around!āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøā

āCan we please talk about what an outstanding employee Brandon Smith over in pre-owned sales is? This review isn't about a purchase, but about an exceptional employee. Back story:
I am hearing impaired. I wear bluetooth hearing aids bilaterally - they essentially function the same way AirPods do. Calls/music from my phone are played through them. When I purchased my pre-owned, 2021 Durango from Smith Haven CJDR in March of 2025, it was important to know that the blue tooth technology in the vehicle, my phone and my hearing aids were functioning properly while I was driving. Calls/music playing through my hearing aids while I'm driving is a safety issue as I cannot hear anything going on outside my vehicle such as emergency vehicles or horns honking.
My last car was very old, and didn't have any "new" technology. The day I picked up my Durango, the salesman spent an abundance of time with me explaining all of the vehicle's modern controls to me. He saw to it that everything was set up properly between the Durango and my phone/hearing aids to ensure that all calls and messages would be handled through the car's audio system.
I am loving my Durango. It is beautiful, comfortable, fun to drive and I feel very safe while driving it. Having a GPS/map, and being able to use voice commands not only through Siri, but through Dodge's own system have been wonderful and it has kept my hands where they belong - on the wheel! I can change everything inside the cabin from the temperature, vent settings, volume and even the radio station simply saying "Hey Dodge".
However, something happened in the last couple of weeks. My Apple CarPlay was no longer functioning as it should. Now suddenly when I would answer a call while driving, the call would get directed to my hearing aids instead of the car's audio system. If I was listening to music when a call would come through, the music would start blaring into my hearing aids once the call ended. As stated above, this is a safety hazard - not only would it prevent me from hearing anything else, but I would also start scrambling for my phone in order to lower the volume and/or turn off the music. I could NOT figure out what the issue was. I hadn't gotten a new phone, or done anything differently than what I had been doing all along since March.
I went to a Verizon store to ask someone there for help - but they couldn't figure out the issue either. I did try to Google it on my own, but my results kept indicating it was a problem with the carās Bluetooth system. Desperate for someone to help, I decided to bring my Dodge to the dealership. I explained what was happening to the man at the front desk. He seemed baffled, but asked a salesman to see if he could help me sort it out. Once inside my car, Brandon tried to troubleshoot the issue by unpairing the car from my phone. Unfortunately this did not work, but he said to me that he would try googling the issue and if he came up with any answers, he would call/text me.
Over the course of the next hour, we messaged several times. He actually asked me the name and model of my hearing aids to use in his search and before long, he sent me a screen shot of some steps to try (settings to change on my phone)...and it worked! I couldn't believe it. I did recently download an update on my phone, so it's possible that these settings somehow got changed from that. All I know for sure is that Brandon went out of his way to help out a customer who did not buy a vehicle from him, nor was he about to make any money from selling me one.
I wanted to write this review because I believe that every interaction counts - and the efforts of someone who did everything they could to help me out should be recognized. I hope that Smith Haven CJDR recognizes what a selfless employee they have in Brandon Smith, and I hope that someone over there tells him what a great job he did. This really was a safety concern for me, and I am once again driving around feeling safe and enjoying everything my Durango has to offer. Pics of my Durango for attention:ā

āI just recently purchased a 2025 Jeep Compass at Smith Haven and was welcomed by Chris Caravousanos who was extremely cool. He was very patient , polite and professional. I was literally in and out of the dealership in less than 3 hours. I couldnāt believe who great all of the staff were at this location . Tom was very nice and stuck by his word . Bill (Billy) was very helpful and professional on the contract and financial side of things. I traded in my Ford Ecosport and was given a great deal on the price I was offered by Smith Haven . I mean, I really appreciate Chris C., Tom and Bill. Chris C treated with respect and was very humble. He didnāt make the sale about him , but rather made me feel as though the entire experience was for me. If I could or had anybody to recommend that wanted a ānewā vehicle I would highly recommend speaking to Chris Caravousanos because he indeed was the best Sales Representative. Iām just really in awe with Smith Haven and pray they can continue to maintain such great energy , professionalism and integrity. My experience was probably one of the best Iāve had in all of my car purchases. I wish Smith Haven the best now and in the future. Ask for Chris C, and you will not be disappointed.ā
