2 hour wait for something that should’ve taken 1 hour max turned out to be a 5 hour wait.
No communication, no “apologies for the wait”
after I’ve had enough and went in to ask I got a “we can’t find your car key”. What???
Judging by the waiting room that day and the recent reviews I wasn’t the only one.

Update:
If you want anything proactively done/followed-up/clarified in a timely manner, the fastest/surest way is to go in person OR leave a bad review and wait for someone to contact you.
If anyone decides to get an inspection here, make sure you get verbal confirmation on the result as well as a physical report of the inspection.

What is the point of doing a state inspection here if they aren’t going to submit it to the MVA? It’s been a week and tell me why I go to the MVA only for them to say nothing has been submitted for my vehicle
Oh and don’t bother calling them, you will never get a call back, they will always be “busy helping other people” and direct you to text them”

“We had an excellent experience at Fitzgerald Hyundai in Rockville. Our sales rep was Jim Heiman and he was so nice and kind to us, not pushy at all, took time to explain everything on our new vehicle, and was very helpful with our kids. We purchased our last car from Herson Honda and to this day are still angry about some bait and switch stuff they pulled, extra crap they added on at the end to jack up the price, etc. Our experience with Fitzgerald was the complete opposite experience. We paid exactly what we expected when we came in, they gave us an amazing valuation on the trade in for our old vehicle, and every single person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and empathetic. And their business signing was the easiest we’ve ever had in our car buying experience. The giant signing boards were super quick to use and they weren’t pushy at all about protective plans, etc. Can’t imagine we’d buy a car anywhere else in the future.”

“It only got worse. Went here a few times coming to MD and I thought it was going to be a good experience. Yet every time something I asked for wasn’t Done . I had to get a MD vehicle inspection 3 times . The first time wrong VIN was put under my vehicle. Brought it back to correct it and passed the second time after getting work Done . I had asked for a whole inspection to be Done with inspection but it wasn’t. Brought it back for the full $200 plus inspection and correction of MD inspection another $600+. It took for ever to get my title from Cali which I don’t know it expired after 90 days so I took it back plus I needed windshield wipers. Charged $290+ for labor which I guess was the charge for the inspection which is crazy. I received a video saying o would need a new gas cap and the hood latch was hard to open but it doesn’t fail because of that. I get a call saying my car failed. When I got in I said how are you trying to charge $500+ for something you said wouldn’t fail my vehicle?was told by the agent that the mechanic misspoke ?? The way he said it in the video was not mis speaking it was a certain thing that it wouldn’t fail. It’s winter but a little WD40 did wonders because I took it somewhere else (I should have went but benefit of the doubt and a wasted $410- which they didn’t change my wipers that I requested the just said need to be changed but never asked in conversation?? Then it was added to total and the agent had someone come out and put them on??? ) my vehicle passed and now I’m registered in MD. I lost $390 worth of money that could have gone towards something else I need Done on my vehicle. I won’t be back . It’s busy and that’s fine but it’s the communication and how the agents assist. It could be more personable.”

“Very poor service. I left my car at 9 am. By 11:30 they mentioned my car was ready, but need to replace a tire. Hence, I asked for photos (as it is written on their assessment) and if they have a tire to replace it. I send multiple messages and calls but no clear answer. After EIGHT hours, I went to the facility to pick up my car and wait for 45 minutes to barely receive no answer about the tire. They also mentioned that there was a free car wash. Obviously, if they cannot answer for a paid service, they will not have the capability to provide a free one.”
