“Had such a great experience with Mohamad! Not only did he stop me from walking off the lot, but he helped me find my dream car (a 25 Jetta sel)! He was so amazing that he even bought my mother a vw jacket! Talk about kind and great marketing!! I can’t thank Mohamad enough for helping me get a great price and making it an experience I won’t forget! Out of the 13 dealerships I worked with, Mohamad was the only sales person who didn’t feel pushy or like he was there to make a quick buck. He personalized the experience. Thank you Mohamad and Vw riverside!!!”

“am extremely disappointed with how what should have been a routine warranty repair was handled, especially given that I am a longtime customer of Riverside Volkswagen. I purchased this vehicle brand new just last year and have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership over the years.
While driving, a warning light came on, the transmission began slipping, there was a grinding sound, and there was a strong burnt smell. I immediately brought the vehicle in for service. After several hours of inspection, the service department confirmed the clutch was burned, explicitly told me the repair was covered under warranty, and provided me with documentation showing that the affected component was a covered warranty item. Based on that determination, the repair was scheduled. I was given a loaner and told the repair would be completed quickly.
After dropping the vehicle off as instructed, communication stopped. When I followed up, I was told the repair was delayed because the dealership did not have the necessary tool. This explanation continued for multiple days with no proactive updates. Only later was I informed that corporate wanted photos and that the dealership was now reversing its original determination and claiming the repair was not covered under warranty. This reversal occurred after the vehicle had already been taken apart and after written documentation had already been provided confirming coverage.
Given the timing of these events, being told repeatedly that the dealership did not have the proper tools appears less like a legitimate delay and more like stalling while an internal decision was being reconsidered. Regardless of intent, the result was the same. My vehicle was left disassembled while coverage was debated internally, leaving me without clear answers or accountability.
Instead of honoring the original warranty determination, the dealership began negotiating. First they offered to cover half as a goodwill gesture. Then they offered to cover labor only if I paid approximately $1,300 for parts. This was despite their own documentation and prior confirmation that the repair was covered.
Meanwhile, I was forced to continue driving a loaner vehicle and rack up mileage because my car was being held due to internal issues entirely outside of my control. This situation caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and financial pressure over what should have been a straightforward warranty repair on a nearly new vehicle.
Reversing a documented warranty decision after disassembly, combined with inconsistent communication and avoidable delays, is not acceptable. I am still hopeful that dealership management will review this matter, honor the original warranty determination, and resolve this properly.”

“John Lama helped me make an informed decision about my next car. Going in to buy a car as a women alone can be intimidating and he made it so easy. The whole dealership was so warm, welcoming, and kind.”
