“The sales manager I dealt with was a joke. In not so many words, he basically insinuated that I was lying about an offer I had from another dealer. Said it was too good to be true. He was disrespectful and condescending. I could not get out of that place fast enough. Now, not only do they have an unhappy previously-potential customer, but they also have someone who will actively tell friends and family to stay away from Riverside Honda.
If you want a great dealership experience and are willing to drive an hour, just do yourself a favor and call Lance at Rancho Santa Margarita Honda. That deal that was supposedly “too good to be true” was made with Lance over about 15 minutes on the phone. He gave me over $4,000 off MSRP for a 2026 Pilot, plus beat Carmax’s offer to buy my trade-in by $2,000. And there were zero add-on accessories or other junk costs. And he did all of this for a vehicle that he didn’t even have in stock. He got it from another dealership for me same-day.”

“It would have been 2 stars if not for the helpful sales associate.
I just moved to CA from SC and had all of my maintenance done at the dealership there prior to moving here. Back in the south you receive stellar service with top tier effort all around. They run your car through the wash and vacuum the front floor boards. They even have a car valet where they bring your car to you in the service bay, like many do, unfortunately none of that happened here.
This was my first time getting a service on my car since moving here and I’m a bit disappointed. The sales associate was friendly and communicative but no wash, no vacuum, and no car valet. I was left to go find my car in the dealer parking lot after spending over $1,000 for brakes, brake flush, alignment, etc.
I understand the south is different from the west, and all dealerships are also different, but I at least expect my car to be waiting in the valet area ready for me when my service was finished at the bare minimum. I didn’t expect to have to go search for my car parked in the dealer lot which barely has space to get in because all the cars are parked so close together.
I also requested a quote on their tinting. I was told they tint guy was not in but he will call be back the next day. Well, it’s 2 weeks later and I still haven’t received a quote.
All in all, you are measured by what you do and what you don’t do. I will be looking for another Honda dealership to continue my maintenance with because this particular dealership did not meet my expectation.”

“Wow!! This was the best dealer experience I’ve ever had!! I was looking for a Type R for a very long time and Sales Manager Derek Buono beat every quote I got from all of CA, AZ, NV, TX, SC, and many more states! I was also in and out of that dealership in 2 hours. Everything was transparent, no gimmicks, and Sales Consultant Agustin Gomez was very helpful in every step. “Nothing but good things to say about this dealership! My fiancé and I came in knowing what we wanted and had been to a prior dealership that we walked out of and ended up here. We were helped by the sales and leasing consultant Anthony McCroy and honestly was the best experience! He listened to what I wanted and guided us in the whole process without being pushy but also helping us get the best deal for my price range. Thank you, Anthony because of you we will be back when we decide to get our next car.
