“One star overall but every bit of that star goes to the salesman, he was fantastic. Mark helped us look at several vehicles, explained features and answered all my questions. he was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and very helpful. After waiting hours to get back to finance, we met with joey soto, we had a deal and were excited to come back the following day to pick up our vehicle. We first thought something was off when my husband and I started getting multiple credit alerts for new inquiries 2 days later. Despite emailing and calling joey repeatedly we were finally told the next day (our wedding day) that the deal wasn't going to work anymore because my ex husbands name was on my last years tax return and "We have other approvals that will put you at a higher payment but you can always refinance at a later date to drop the payment". We were not okay with this given my husbands perfect credit score and feeling as if we were being taken advantage of so we agreed to restructure the deal. We agreed to put only my husbands name on the car and were assured joey would get us the rates and payments we originally had. Over the next 3 days his credit continued to be pulled with no communication to us until joey emailed saying he had it all figured out "perfectly" and would send over the paperwork for us to sign. After finally receiving the paperwork it was a slightly higher interest rate and higher monthly payment. I suppose we were just not supposed to notice. At this point we had enough stress and wanted to be done with the entire experience. we decided to cancel the deal, return our first brand new car that we loved, and try to erase the disaster of the past week and a half. At this point i'm currently still waiting a week on my $1500 credit card refund and to add insult to injury, my husband went in for his credit card to be refunded and joey processed a charge for $4000 rather than a refund so he is now waiting on $8000 to be returned. to sum things up, if you are going to buy at Gettel Hyundai, choose Mark Ely as a salesman, you will not be disappointed!
