“This dealership managed to turn a simple question about a Suburban into a masterclass in incompetence.
On Saturday they told me, in writing, that they had just gotten the vehicle, needed to run it through the shop, and would let me know Monday. Then Monday morning they messaged me asking if I was still interested, only to tell me right after that it had already been sold and that I should have come in Saturday.
Read that again.
They told me to wait until Monday, then blamed me for waiting until Monday.
That is not a misunderstanding. That is terrible communication at best and dishonest nonsense at worst. And when I pointed out the obvious, they immediately tried to rewrite what they meant. Problem is, texts don’t rewrite themselves.
If this is how they handle a basic sales conversation, I can only imagine what happens after they have your money. Completely unserious operation. Save yourself the aggravation and shop somewhere run by people who can keep their story straight for more than 48 hours.”

“We had an amazing experience purchasing our new Hummer at Gillette GMC.
Our sales guy, John, went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. He took us on a long, no-rush test drive so we could really get a feel for the vehicle and make sure it was exactly what we want. That kind of time and attention made a huge difference.
Negotiating numbers was surprisingly easy – no pressure, no games, and everything was handled with honesty and transparency. The entire experience was smooth, friendly, and comfortable from the start to finish.
We are absolutely thrilled with our hummer, and we couldn’t recommend Gillette GMC (and especially John!) If you’re looking for a dealership, that truly respects your time and makes buying a vehicle enjoyable this is the place.”

“Bought a 2026 GMC Denali. John Warren is the person I have dealt with and I have to say made the entire experience positive and I felt relaxed with him. He is always available when ever I call for questions and he has all the answers. I’m very happy so far with my beautiful Denali and the personal attention that is given….”

“In May 2024, I purchased what I thought was my dream truck: a GMC Sierra SLT 1500 with the 6.2L V8. The price? A staggering $72,236.25. I put down $10,000 cash plus a paid-off trade worth $5,500. At no point during the purchase did anyone at Gettel disclose the ongoing, well-documented engine issues tied to this exact powertrain to the tune of 28,000 complaints according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Fast forward just one year. In May 2025, news breaks of a massive, horrific engine recall—precisely the kind of catastrophic failure no one wants to discover after sinking nearly three-quarters of a hundred grand into a truck. Rather than risk losing power at highway speeds with my family in the vehicle, I made the only responsible choice: take it back to trade it in.
Here’s the kicker—Gettel flat-out refused to take the very same truck they sold me. That’s right: they were happy to pocket my cash and my trade, but when the fallout of GM’s defective engine landed on my lap, suddenly they wanted nothing to do with me or the vehicle they pushed onto their lot a year prior.
This isn’t just bad business—it’s outright betrayal of customer trust. Refusing to support your own customer when the truth surfaces? Absolutely inexcusable.
If you’re considering doing business with Gettel, think twice. Once they’ve taken your money, you’re on your own.”
