“Have been in the market to buy a new Corvette. I wanted Seawolf gray but they phased it out in 2026. Saw the Roswell green and thought it would be a suitable alternative. Gilchrist has one in stock, and it's a beauty. I also like to support local businesses when I can.
Called to schedule a test drive and they said they would need to talk numbers and get me approved to test drive it. Seriously? My boss is buying us all new Corvettes, I work on a team that writes software used in the production of F1 cars, so this was a cool bonus. But they want to credit check me for a test drive lol
Went in on Saturday at my scheduled appointment to look at the Corvette, waited for several minutes for someone to help me (even though I was the only customer) and the Corvette was not prepped, nobody knew who I was or why I was there. Explained it to a sales guy named Zach, and he just stared at me like I was speaking Mandarin.
So...took my business to Hazelwood. They let me and my wife test drive a Corvette. They don't have the color I wanted, but all good, I ordered a 2025 in Seawolf gray.
To Gilchrist Chevrolet: I will never do business with you. You lost a $101,000 sale.”

“After 2 experiences, I would not recommend this service department. They never answered their phone or returned messages. Even when calling the main operator, if there is no answer the call goes to a voice mail where the mailbox is full. I was forgotten about and no effort was made to look into my concerns without me having to get forceful and demand answers. Walking into the service department is no better. Two to three reps, sitting, staring at a computer screen and not even nodding their heads in recognition that I was standing, sends a clear message that they are not interested in serving you. Excuses. Understaffing. Lost paperwork. Forgotten courier pickup order. Incomplete order notes. Texts and phone messages ignored. Smoky-smelling, uncomfortable customer service waiting room, lacking adequate seating. Disheveled, dirty car at pick-up. The one star rating is for the friendly courier driver and clean transport vehicle, and fully charging my car prior to pickup. Because of convenience, I feel locked into their service department and hope that things improve.”

“It was a great experience! No hassle until the extended warranty section. Brandon was amazing, he went over the car features and was very knowledgeable. The price was great we had gone to another place before and they were so pushy for a more basic car that was priced higher. I was glad we got this great deal!”

“This review is long overdue. Unfortunately, my experience with Gilchrist Chevrolet was extremely disappointing.
I brought my vehicle in for what should have been a straightforward DPF sensor replacement, quoted at around $600. At no point was I informed of any risks associated with this repair, nor was it discussed that something like a broken bung was a possibility. There was no warning, disclaimer, or conversation about potential complications.
Later that afternoon (around 3pm), I received a call saying there was a “small issue.” That issue turned out to be far from small—they informed me that they had broken the bung during the repair. I was then told my repair bill had increased to over $4,500.
I immediately refused to authorize further work and halted the repair. What followed was several days of poor communication. It took an unreasonable amount of time to receive any meaningful updates, and when communication did happen, Gilchrist Chevrolet took minimal responsibility for the situation. It was clear they wanted to take little to no accountability for a problem that occurred during their work.
After significant back-and-forth, we eventually reached an agreement, but I was still forced to pay well over twice the cost of the original issue I came in with, despite the complication occurring during their repair and never being disclosed as a risk beforehand.
The lack of communication, transparency, and accountability throughout this process was extremely frustrating and left me with very little confidence in their service department. Between this experience and the ongoing issues with GM’s DPF systems and transmissions, I would not recommend GM products due to reliability concerns.
I would also recommend going elsewhere for GM service or sales—dealerships like Jet Chevrolet offer a much better overall GM ownership and service experience.”
