“I have had great experiences with Universal Genisis! My husband and I have purchased a number of cars through this dealership and have been happy with all of them. I currently have a Genesis GV 70 and love it. I’ve always been given great service from Ian Saitta. He always make sure I’m well taken care of. He comes out to greet me when I arrive and make sure Everything is good when I leave. He even responds to my text questions no matter how small they are. He treats me like a friend rather than just another customer And to me that is great customer service!! I’ve been very happy with My Genesis and will definitely come back to Universal Hyundai to get another one when the time is right! So thank you so much, Ian Saitta!”

“I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership for nearly $100,000, and the level of incompetence I’ve experienced since then is unbelievable.
They never delivered my permanent tags. I had to call repeatedly just to get temporary tags issued. After getting the runaround for weeks, they finally issued another temp tag on December 23.
Fast forward to February 23 — I was pulled over because the tag had expired. The officer informed me not only that the registration was wrong, but that the vehicle was registered under the wrong person.
Let that sink in.
When I called the dealership on 2/23 to get this corrected, the finance manager told me she “couldn’t issue a new tag” because Tennessee had already issued registration and proof of delivery on 12/16.
That’s impossible — because they issued me a temporary tag on 12/23.
So which is it?
Either their paperwork is a disaster, or I was flat-out lied to. And while telling me this, she was rude, spoke over me, and acted as if I were the problem. She even claimed the name issue was “how I have it,” despite the fact that they ran my credit three times and took my information directly off my driver’s license.
They also claim to have “proof” of registration completion, yet I have never received any such documentation. As of today, I still have no permanent tag and no proof that my registration was properly completed.
Imagine spending nearly six figures on a vehicle and being treated like this — reprimanded by a finance manager who can’t even keep basic registration paperwork straight.
If you value your time, your money, or basic competence, think carefully before buying from this dealership.
Update 2/23 spoke with Jacob who was able to provide more information and issue another temp tag.
I would avoid Jennifer in the finance department, she was not the vibe.”
