“first off, I love Ford Motor Company. I have no grip or complaint with Ford, but with Young Automotive Group.
The Young dealership does a good job advertising; they bring in engaging events like Ford Racing in the parking lot and other cool attractions, such as circus-type acts, which the kids enjoyed. While I'm reluctant to write these, I share this information so others can be aware. We had to have our vehicle in for recalls. Setting up the appointment, they said to show up early to get a shuttle ride home. Even showing up early did not help; we had to wait an extra half hour for a ride. The first thing I was bombarded with was a text from a so-called 'appeaser manager' who wanted to know if we wanted to have our vehicle appraised and explore new vehicle options." And then we got another text with a video attached showing the tech doing a walk-around to share his findings. "The tech went around the vehicle, suggesting the alignment might need to be checked. As he finished that inspection, he showed me the filters and recommended the 50,000-mile maintenance, which included suggestions for fuel treatment, a brake fluid change, and other services.
I understand they are a business trying to make money. But the fact that they tried to pull the wool over our eyes with this sales pitch that these things need to be taken care of. It appears that the Young Auto Group mandates that their technicians and service writers upsell customers on every conceivable service that is not necessary. While they provide a video walkthrough, the recording merely highlights non-issues as if they were significant problems. And then the service writer calls, leaving a message with the same pitch to get these things taken care of. Why try to sell false care or recommendations?
According to Ford’s official website, their recommendations, there is no specific 50,000-mile maintenance schedule; standard intervals are at 40,000 and 60,000 miles. Services at those points are typically limited to oil and filter changes and tire rotations; major fluid changes, like the brake fluid Ford suggested, are not required. That is a sales pitch to get us to waste our money. The view I see The Young Auto Group appears dedicated to maximizing revenue while offering minimal value in return, either through unnecessary services or consistent overcharging.
I will no longer do business with them. You may have a different experience from the one my family and I had. But I highly suggest you double-check what they are telling you and what they are doing.”

“I’ve had my truck serviced there for quite a while. Stone has always taken exceptional care of me, going above and beyond to do his best. That’s all I could ever ask for I appreciate the reliability and the trust.
Taylor is another true asset and an exceptional member to the Young automotive group. His willingness to go above and beyond compares to no one. The mobile service team, (Aaron) very professional and efficient. I couldn’t be happier.”

“**UPDATED TO INCLUDE PICTURES** I already left this review under their service review section but I dont want anyone to miss it by only looking up Young Ford Ogden and not looking up their service department!! SHADY, UNETHICAL, AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! If I could give zero stars I most definitely would! We took our 2021 F150 in on 06/30/25 for regular maintenance (oil change and tire rotation), axle recall repair and other service repairs (our engine light and powertrain light was on). They kept our truck over a week and all they did was manage to completely damage our vehicle! For over a week we received nothing but constant run around, denied/unanswered calls, and when we did speak to someone all we got was they were waiting on parts they ordered and that they were unable to do the recall because it takes months to get the parts. Finally today, 07/08/25, they said everything was fixed and the total would be almost $2500. Mind you we have an extended warranty which should cover bumper to bumper and all we requested was basic maintenance service. I was told that wasnt the case and that we received a 60K maintenance service which cost $1200 and the engine light and service repairs (labor not parts) would cost over $1200. Which is a complete scam because we didnt request the 60k maintenance service we wanted the basic maintenance service. They also NEVER mentioned it would cost $1200 for the maintenance when we initially dropped it off. So after going in circles with their incompetent and unprofessional service adviser Cassandra and her manager (I didnt get his name) I asked to be transferred to a higher up manager to get the issue resolved. That is when I was able to speak with Taylor. Taylor seemed to be helpful and genuine like he cared and wanted to help. We were able to negotiate and come to an agreement since they failed to mention that the 60K maintenance package they offered us was $1200. I paid over the phone and picked up my truck after hours due to work. I thought all was well and we could move forward but boy was I wrong!!! Within 2 minutes of picking up our truck and driving it off the lot. All the lights came back on, the truck is shaking, the gear shifts aren't working, the mud they allegedly cleaned off and charged us $990 extra for.... yeah they lied and didnt do that and the undercarriage is still caked with mud, and the truck is now jerking and having difficulty getting into gear if you drive it over 70mph. When we dropped off the vehicle it had NONE of these issues. The only issue that the truck had was that the engine and service lights were illuminated. So to prevent further issues/damage, we took it to the dealership to be fixed since there was a recall that needed to be completed anyway. Now after leaving our truck with Young Ford Ogden our truck is COMPLETELY MESSED UP and they did NOT fix one thing! Even after paying them $1231 and them having the truck for over a week! All they managed to do was completely DAMAGE our truck! And now were out over $1200 and our truck isnt even safe to drive! I DONT and will NEVER recommend them to anyone EVER! I've been a Ford owner my entire life and have used multiple locations for services and I have NEVER had an experience like this EVER! They are by far the worst dealership/service department I have ever dealt with! If you are looking for reliable service, I advise you to seek elsewhere unless you want your vehicle to be completely DAMANGED and in worse condition than how you left it with them. Also, they can't deny the damages they have caused to our vehicle as I have pictures, video and recorded conversations! Save yourself the headache and DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR VEHICLE. Doing business with them is one of the WORSE MISTAKES OF MY LIFE AND I REGRET TRUSTING YOUNG FORD OGDEN WITH MY VEHICLE!”

“I recently purchased a vehicle from Young Automotive in Ogden, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, easy, and completely stress-free.
Gabriel, my salesperson, was fantastic to work with—friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, transparent. He answered all of my questions honestly and made sure I felt comfortable with every step of the process. There was no pressure, no gimmicks—just genuine help in finding the right vehicle for me.
When it came time to finalize everything, Trevor in finance was equally great to work with. He explained all of the financing options clearly, without any confusing fine print or unexpected surprises. I really appreciated how upfront and professional he was, making what is usually the most stressful part of buying a car actually easy to navigate.
Overall, this was by far the best car buying experience I’ve had. If you’re looking for a dealership that values honesty, transparency, and customer care, I highly recommend Young Automotive in Ogden. Ask for Gabriel and Trevor—you’ll be in good hands.”
