“Deceptive “Stall and Switch” – Sold the car while I was fetching the title Day 1: I worked a deal on a 2023 Mach-E. After signing a breakdown sheet with a $9,000 trade-in allowance, salesperson Dawson explicitly promised me that by signing, I “wouldn’t have to worry about the car being sold to anyone else.” I even caught them trying to relabel my trade-in as a “cash down payment” on the paperwork—a move that would have cost me over $600 in extra Minnesota sales tax. Based on their word that the car was held, I authorized a hard credit pull. Day 2: I returned to finalize the next morning and reminded them I had a firm noon commitment. Dawson then claimed they “couldn’t” do a Ford EV Certification after I made the request in order to get the extended warranty and other benefits that comes with that certification . I was then “iceboxed” in the lobby for over an hour and a half. Despite my deadline, Dawson didn't have someone from their financing team bring me into the office until 11:33 AM. I only had 27 minutes left for a 20-minute drive, and because of their stalling, I was actually late to my commitment. Inside, they tried to ambush me with a $3,995 extended warranty, hiking my monthly payment from $384 to $461 despite having the same APR as my pre-approval. I told them I’d be back in 90 minutes to finalize with the trade title and my mother as a co-buyer (to ensure the legal tax savings), despite them trying to rush me to sign right then. The Betrayal: Dawson’s last words were, “I’m going to charge the vehicle up for you.” He knew I was coming back the trade-in title and mother’s signature to finalize the deal . While I was gone, I received a call at 1:38 PM saying they sold the car. They then tried to pivot me into a different Mach-E that had FAILED its own transaxle inspection and had tire tread at 4/32", telling me they’d only sell it “as-is.” Unethical, predatory, and a total waste of time.”

“The team at Morrie’s Minnetonka Ford was great to work with! In particular, we really appreciated the guidance and responsiveness of our sales person, Nathan Clark. Nathan did a great job finding the exact Bronco that we wanted. And Tyler from the financing team was super helpful as well. Would definitely recommend the professional at Morrie’s Minnetonka Ford to anyone looking to purchase or lease a new Ford!!”

“I recently had my first service visit at Morrie’s Ford in Minnetonka, and it was a great experience. Luke was my service advisor, and he was extremely informative, patient, and transparent throughout the entire process. There ended up being an additional item that needed repair, but Luke had planned for the worst upfront and clearly explained the potential costs. In the end, some items did not need to be replaced, and the final total still fell within the original estimate, which I really appreciated. The honesty and communication from Luke and the dealership as a whole stood out to me. I felt confident that they were doing only what was necessary and truly had my best interest in mind. Overall, they did a great job, and I’m very happy with the service provided. I would absolutely recommend Morrie’s Ford in Minnetonka.”

“The car I purchased was clean and in fantastic shape. The people I worked with in sales and financing were great. Ismail was knowledgeable, polite and professional. We found a good spot on my trade in value and the sale price and I locked it in. I would recommend checking them out.”

“Warning* this is the 4th out of 4 times I have come in for service and I have left there incredibly disappointed, upset and frustrated. One was for an APPOINTMENT to get my oil changed - 2 hours they were not done - 4 hours later they said my car was ready. I asked what the deal was and they said they were busy today. BUT I had an appointment time assigned to me - and the guy said "Oh, appointment times don't mean anything here". This time I had to get a ride back to Morrie's Ford to find the lug nut key. They said they looked and could not find it. It took me 30 seconds to locate it, right where I said it would be!!!. How about the time they were supposed to put the windshield coating on but at check out they forgot and said they would do it right now ... then ... they were putting in on someone else's vehicle. I am warning you right now, if you want to go to Morrie's Ford, put on some thick skin, it will not be easy! The management will apologize, with no feeling or understanding that it is frustrating!!!”
