The service area is immaculate. Giovanni was outstanding! Courteous and patient and explained everything to me in detail. I sincerely appreciate him. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and arrived early, no problem. My truck was taken ahead of time and completed on schedule.

Melanie was great! Even though i did not have an appointment arranged, she made me feel at ease that all my concerns would be addressed, even with it being right before a holiday. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating throughout. Much appreciated service.

Quick facts: Bought car in July new. "Number 3 was misfiring" according to my Ford app yesterday. Blinking check engine light and driving like a stick shift starting in 3rd. Hollingsworth called Harvey to arrange for service/presumably transportation home at around 130. I am a hospice nurse and had to see my patients before I could go. At 3 I arrived at Harvey and was told it was too late for anyone to look at and would have to be left. I would need to rent a car for the weekend probably. I walked across LaPalco to car rentals and no one had any. I returned to tell service staff (dark haired female with glasses) who just shrugged and asked for my key because they "close the door at 530." It was 3:15. I had no one who could get me before 7 or 8 pm and have a car filled with medical supplies, patient records and adult diapers so I could not leave it in service area. Decided to take the chance and start driving to Baton Rouge. The issue was getting worse and the car was stalling when I stopped at this point. I was on the verge of a heart attack driving over the Huey P Long Bridge. My son in law who was driving to meet me or pick me up off the side of the road, whatever was necessary, suggested I stop at Matt Bowers in Metairie saying "maybe you will get lucky and they will do all of the things the other place should have done." I get there at 515. (Check the distance between Harvey and Metairie and you will get an idea of the pace I was driving). I pulled to the door, believing it was already closed and that I was leaving it and my son in law pick me up. Walked inside and discovered a full house and made eye contact with THE guy, according to his staff, Louis Picard. At this point I am a very tired and defeated wreck and he could see it. I described the problem. He asked if I had Ford Pass and said "just pull it in, the door will open. It's automatic. Let's check it out. Might be an easy fix." Within 5 minutes he identified the problem. And by 6 pm, he walked into the service desk smiling. I was on the road with a perfectly running car heading home. I just got home after driving all over the New Orleans seeing my patients and it ran without a hitch. I live in Denham Springs, but my service center from now on is Matt Bowers, Metairie. I told Louis, it would have been enough for me, that he was just willing to check it out. The fact that he went as far as repairing it on the spot is far beyond what I or anyone would have expected. That's more than just excellent customer service. That's just a good human being who saw a raggedy old lady who just needed help.
