“UPDATE- In response to my post below, I was contacted by the owner, Troy Campise, the service manager, David and our service tech, Jean Paul. The vehicle is scheduled to go in next week to fix the problem with the brakes. I thank Troy, David, and Jean Paul for their prompt attention to this problem. It is greatly appreciated. We recently purchased a 2025 4Runner. We have purchased numerous vehicles from Toyota Lakeside in the past and have been happy. Our sales person and service tech there are great. However, we were not told prior to purchasing the 2025 vehicle that they were having trouble with the brakes making horrible squeaking noises. Should a $70,000 vehicle do this??? We brought it in and were told they would try to fix it but that people have been coming back with the same issues. The same thing has happened to us. We wake up our neighborhood every morning with the squeaking of brakes. This is so disappointing and it appears we have to live with it. I don’t know if they are having the same problems with other Toyota vehicles but definitely ask before purchasing one.”
