“Update: the dealership issued a refund for the cancelled service contract. It took extensive effort on my part, but eventually a check was received. If you buy from this Dealer, have your lawyer ready. Genesis is a great car and is in the top 5 for many of the luxury car ratings. Unfortunately, their dealerships haven't figured out how to be a premium car dealership and leave the "used car salesman" approach behind them. I found a great genesis G80 at their dealership, but that was the end of the feel good moments. Everything after that was a battle. What made me very upset was how they refused to remove the "ELO GPS package" from the purchase price saying "it is already installed, we can't remove it. There is not option to not pay the $995 for it." This is a complete lie as the terms of service clearly state it is an optional service, AND all Genesis cars 2023 and newer come with their own built in GPS monitoring and cellular remote start service FOR FREE!!! When i requested to cancel the warranty/service after the purchase, citing the "30-day cancellation period for a full refund" term in the contract, i was told, "I'm not giving you a refund. Do what you have to do, but i'm not giving you a refund." I was absolutely floored! Now, I am having to take legal action against them to protect my rights as a consumer. Genesis is a great car, but don't use this dealership. There are better ways to buy a Genesis.”
