“My fiance and I reserved a vehicle at the Independence location and were assisted by Marvin. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, even asking if my fiance was okay after learning her previous vehicle had been totaled in an accident 2 months prior. He also educated us on getting a sales tax credit form from our insurance company so we could save money on the sales tax for a replacement car (ended up saving us a bit over $600!) The car we looked at with Marvin didn't end up giving us the warm fuzzies, but he did find another model we were interested in at their Merriam, KS. location. He scheduled us an appt with Jake V. at that location for 30 mins later. We go to the Merriam location for our appointment and test drive with the new model and fell in love with it. Jake was up front about everything with the vehicle and worked with us to make sure a work order was put in to fix small things on the vehicle and make sure it adhered to the "carmax standard". This was our 2nd purchase with carmax and we were both so comfortable and happy we chose them again. There was no pushiness or price haggling etc and we didnt feel uncomfortable at any point. Highly recommend carmax and specifically Marvin at the Independence location or Jake V. at Merriam.”

“CARMAX had earlier models for ridiculous prices. My 2013 dodge grand caravan they made an offer for 700.00. I said thank you. And i showed the salesman from NortheTowne Mitsubishi and the salesman Tye had written 1200.00 for the van, he said he understood. I drove to Northtowne drove it to show my wife and she really liked it. I went to C.C.A.U. to pick up the bank check the following day. Vechicle purchased and I drove it home! Would i recommend CarMax? Only if your looking for a laugh! CarMax isn't what it used to be! Pricing is now fixed. There's no negotiable. And vechicles are early models and the earlier model was 65,000.00 for a 2017. My was 38, 000.00 1200.00 for my trade in.”
