South Hills Kia

“When researching “Kia Carnival” on the internet, I opted to “build” the trim model I was interested in. After “building” the Carnival, I searched the inventory within a 100 mile radius to see if my “building” was available. As it turned out, South Hills Kia was the only dealership with the exact trim. I was very fortunate to have spoken with Doug on the phone to confirm that it was available and we scheduled an appointment to test drive the next day. During the test drive, Doug was very helpful answering all questions. Obviously, all went well or I wouldn’t be writing this…😁 The negotiations regarding both the price and my trade in were a process but we were able to settle on my expectations. Definitely a win-win. The process was friendly and humane. No one died..lol. We agreed that I would come back the next day with the title for the trade-in, (after removing personal items at home), and that the Carnival would be detailed and inspected prior to delivery. The next day, The Finance Manager, Joseph, then took over with the paperwork. Doug handled the trade-in transfer. Very thorough and professional explanation of the paperwork, warranties and purchasing/financing options. Deal consummated. If I were to suggest one thing, it would be that at the final delivery of the Carnival, as he and I inspected the van, it looked as though it had not been throughly detailed. Several decals from the factory were still obvious and attached on door paint and the antenna on roof and the windshield appeared clean but in the rain, (during delivery), there was a visible “film” on the outside where there must have been multiple stickers. Although the “detail team” had a full day to have done that, it’s hard not to wonder if anything else was missed.”
