“Service department did a phenomenal job as always. Had a major mechanical failure, left the truck at the dealer Sunday evening. Part was ordered Monday, installed Tuesday and I was back on the road Tuesday afternoon. Extremely pleased as always!”

“Very professional and made me feel very comfortable purchasing a cat from them. Candice handled the whole situation in person definitely took care of my needs. All the staff I talked to over the phone and in person straight up professional. All in all I may have not got the most rock bottom deal but did still get a great deal considering my credit. Very pleased with the whole situation. Long story short I went from dealer to dealer trying to get a decent vehicle and all I got was jacked prices and lies about everything being a great deal. I'm not the smartest of people out there but I'm no fool. I would highly recommend anyone that needs a vehicle with decent credit along with little cash can find something they need and love. Thanks again Candice especially and the rest of the staff.”

“BUYER BEWARE!!!!! What started out to be a good situation turned bad pretty quick. To make a long story short, I flew down to this dealer from South Dakota to purchase a 2020 GMC 2500 Duramax after reading the carfax report and asking them if there was anything major wrong with it. You have to have trust in people when you make a long distance purchase and these folks seemed on the up and up........WRONG!!!! After driving my 2020 duramax straigh home to South Dakota (1307 miles) I parked it in my garage. The next day, when I backed it out the "low coolant" light was on. Added some coolant and all seemed good. This is not my daily driver, but a truck to pull racecar trailer with so it sits 95% of the time. I have only put 1400 miles on it in 2 months since the initial trip home. Well, this past weekend the "add coolant" light came on again. Took it in and come fo find out it needs head gaskets. So I called down to have an honest conversation with them (YEA, I know....sold as is) and thats exactly what they told me. I know for sure 100% for sure the truck was in this condition at the time I purchased it. I never once yelled or even cussed but Rob Lantite wanted nothing to do with trying to help me out. AS IN NOTHING AT ALL! Their service guy told me it was a $2200-3000 fix which is not even close. The best estimate I have found so far is right around $9700.00. I even went so far as to ask if they would buy the truck back from me. I got an immediate NO for an answer. I would stay as far away from these folks as possible if buying a used vehicle. They might seem like some great people up front, but I know for a fact this truck was sold with a ten thousand dollar defect that I am now stuck with. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I have been as nice as I possibly can be in this review but am also putting out facts. I know plenty about vehicles and engines and so on to know what really happened here. It's too bad there are still people like this in our great Country. Lesson learned right here.....buy local. I am still totally blown away by the response (or lack of) that I got from them earlier today. Enough from me. I hope you get the point.”

“You should probably not base a car dealer review on getting a 'deal', but instead based upon all aspects, from sales, finance, to service.
I drove with my friend almost 45 minutes up from Corpus to Mathis to look at a recently advertised Kia Soul that had just come in. it had not been detailed, or even the minor fixups done to prepare it for sale.
Ethan and Andy were my salespersons, and they got the car ready for the test drive and even took notes about any issues we found.Tim is the manager who closed the deal (he was fair, but firm, as the company obviously needed to profit from the sale). Rick, the general manager, helped to validate the deal, and brought us to Lydia, the finance manager to complete the deal (we were able to pay for the car with 2 credit cards!!!!!).
Overall, we felt we were buying a car company and not just a car. These are the people we had to become convinced that they were both honest and reliable. We felt really good that they were both, and a company that we could feel good about recommending to friends (and here on Google).
Even though the car was not prepped for sale (no detail, needed tires and a few service items), we decided to buy the car, KNOWING THAT these minor issues would be taken care of after the sale ... and they were.
All in all, it was one of my best buying experiences, and I've bought a LOT of cars in my lifetime. Every one of the employees (i've not even talked about the service department yet - they are GREAT) I interacted with were people that I not only would want to do business with, but have a beer afterwards.
I HIGHLY recommend Veteran Chevrolet for new or used cars (you gotta check out their two new corvettes!) and service. The nicest thing I can say about them is that I trust them, and that's a hard thing to come by.
If you want to know, in addition to everything mentioned before, yes we did get a great deal too.”

“Best experience ever! Not only did I get the truck of my dreams, I was able to roll in some negative equity, get an amazing interest rate, and received premium white glove service! Not only did we get the deal done long distance, everything was exactly as expected on delivery. The best part was that they were able to deliver the truck to my door, 7 hrs away, on New Years Day! The only surprise was how amazing the experience was and how beautiful my new truck is! Lydia, Rick, and Eli are absolutely stunning!!!”
