“We did not buy a car from Coughlin but another dealer in Marysville. We knew there was a code that needed cleared but it's a Chevy hybrid and must have a certified tech to do work on it, something the other dealer did not have. Our salesman spoke with someone at Coughlin and they agreed to clear the code. When we took it in 2 days later to get the code cleared, it was discovered that was not the only code. Coughlin gave us all the codes and advised us to go back to the other dealership and work out them taking care of repairs and a rental car. The other dealership agreed to this. Coughlin worked with us to get the car in as soon as possible and to make sure all repairs were completed. They went out of their way to get us in when it was not their problem to start with. I truly appreciate the certified tech and Robert Goodman for assisting us.”

“Coughlin GM service department in Marysville Ohio answered my call and acted immediately to address my concern about the engine service light while other local dealers wouldn’t even make an appointment! Drew @ Coughlin, scheduled my appointment the next day and had the service part in stock for a fast repair. Thank you Drew and the technician, great job, great service!”

“I have been looking for a Honda Crosstour for quite a while. I hopped on Coughlin Marysvilles website to check their used inventory. My wife and I purchased a 2016 CRV for a very good price! We were very happy with our purchase and I decided to see if they had anything in stock that peaked my interest. Within minutes I found a 2015 Honda Crosstour EX-L V6. It was a bit high on mileage but the service history was fantastic so I was very excited to take a look at it! I called the Marysville location on 10/8 and Mark informed me it was in Lancaster. I wasn’t surprised as I knew the dealership network was fairly large. I was speaking with mark and he immediately offered to bring the vehicle to the Marysville location. I was surprised and happy that I didn’t have to make the hour trip to Lancaster to see the vehicle. They informed me it wouldn’t be at the Marysville location until 10/10. I was more than fine to wait! After all it was pretty convenient and I didn’t have to do anything on my end so I agreed! On 10/9 at roughly 1pm I was texted by another sales person who confirmed the transport and the time I would be meeting Mark on 10/10. I confirmed 5 pm with Mark on 10/10. On 10/10 at 9am I got a text from Mark informing me the car was sold. I asked why would that happen and he responded that the vehicle was sold before we picked it up. No where in any of the communications or text messages did anyone state a policy that the vehicle wouldn’t be held for me. The entire time I was made to believe the vehicle In fact was being held. Every communication was a definite “it WILL be here on Friday” no one ever said “the vehicle may sell before we go to pick it up. If I would have been informed of that from the beginning I would have driven 40 minutes to the Lancaster location. It’s just crazy that I got an “I’m sorry”, “I apologize”, no where did anyone take accountability for their actual mistake. Why say “it will be here” when in fact you had no clue if it would sell before you picked it up. All of it seemed very rude and just turns me away from a dealer I actually had a very good experience previously purchasing a vehicle from. Just a simple “I’m sorry” doesn’t change that I missed out on a vehicle I have been searching for almost 2 months in my price range. If someone actually communicated the car wasn’t being held this whole thing would have been avoided. I would have just driven to Lancaster Thursday morning to buy the car. Wish I could give a lower rating.”

“Very quick turnaround, I needed an oil change and I was out of state. Within an hour, not only did they perform the oil change, they also fixed a recall issue that my home dealership claimed just weeks prior would take over an entire weekend, Thursday to Tuesday! To top things off, my EBCM got an update, and they gave me back my 16 Sierra Denali cleaner than I gave it to them - outside the oil change, completely free of charge. Five stars all around, especially my tech - Aidan - dude you just killed it. Keep it up folks!”
