“Purchased a 2024 Kia EV9 GT. I worked with Pat Baker and he was professional and knowledgeable. . I purchased from out of state. They took the time to walk around the car via FaceTime and went through everything. Signed via Docusign and they set up shipping for me and it was cheap. Got the car in perfect shape a head of schedule.
It was missing tire inflator and charger. They sent new ones out me quickly. Truly a great experience
Great price and service.”

“Easy to find. Easy to park. Car I called about was ready. Check in for a test drive was quick and painless. Everyone was friendly without any pressure. Nice lobby and office for closing. Smooth closing with all forms explained clearly. I realized the car was missing a floor mat a week after I had it, so they ordered a full set delivered to my home at no extra cost. I'd buy another car from them.”

“I had a mixed experience buying a vehicle from Kingstowne Motorcars. The initial buying process was smooth and professional, and I was excited to fly from Tampa to Virginia to pick up the car. However, things took a turn just before I was scheduled to travel.
The day before my flight, I was informed that the windshield was cracked and needed replacement. I appreciated that they offered to ship the car to me at their expense. But after several days of silence, I learned that the car hadn’t shipped and that they had only posted an ad offering $600 for transport.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and asked the finance manager if I could collect the $600 offer and pick up the car myself, which he agreed via text. I booked a flight to Dulles Airport and asked if someone from the dealership could either meet me there or pick me up—just 30 minutes away. I was told that wasn’t possible. I ended up hiring a taxi and retrieving the car myself.
In the rush to get back to Florida, I forgot to collect the $600 reimbursement. I followed up a few days later, but nearly two weeks have passed with no response from the dealership or the finance manager—and still no reimbursement. When I asked again, they claimed there was some sort of disclosure in my paperwork, but I’ve received no explanation or documentation to support that.
Bottom line:
- If you're local, you might have a better experience.
- If you're out of state, be prepared to make your own travel arrangements and possibly chase down any promises made.
- And don’t expect clear communication or follow-through once the sale is complete—even if agreements were made in writing.”

“I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. I had a set appointment to purchase a vehicle, and just three hours before, I received a text saying the transmission had blown and the car was no longer available. Out of curiosity, my dad (without mentioning he was related to me) called about the same vehicle and was told someone just walked in and bought it.
When I called back to confront them, I was told the text about the transmission issue was “meant for someone else” and that the car was sold. No apology was offered, and no effort was made to make things right. If the confrontation call would have been handled differently, this review would not have been made. I can empathize and be open to other cars, but only when I buy from honest people.
This has been especially frustrating as I’ve been without a car for weeks due to an accident, and this was supposed to be the solution and a happy day. Being lied to and dismissed on top of that was disheartening.
I understand that dealerships need to sell cars quickly, but honesty and respect still go a long way in today’s world. At the very least, I should have been given a call to come in immediately to purchase or been told the truth about the situation. Instead, I was misled and left feeling like my time (including PTO from work) and trust didn’t matter.
This is only the second time I’ve ever left a Google review (my first negative review) for any business, which says a lot about the level of service (or lack thereof) I experienced here.”
