“Poor quality control! Came to test drive a 7 series BMW and the car broke down and died in the middle of the test drive! IYKYK this is a nice car. It should have been a red flag when the salesperson had to jump start the car before the test drive. Mind you, we had an appointment made more than a day in advance so they should have had time to check the car and prepare. They knew we were coming to drive this car specifically! Made it a mile up highway 99 before the gas pedal stopped working and then the whole car went completely dead. I managed to coast to a stop in a safe-ish place but we were stranded in the middle of a 45mph road. Electrics completely dead as well so the hazard lights wouldn’t work, and we couldn’t get the doors unlocked to get our baby out of the car. Took the dealership half an hour to wrangle up another car to come pick us up and my husband ended up having to walk the mile back to the dealership carrying our baby in her car seat. Get an email a few days later that there’s been a price drop on the vehicle: $1000 off! What a joke. Buyer beware!”

“I found the car I was looking for on their website and stopped by to check it out. I was greeted right away and shown where the car was parked. There was no pressure at all—I felt at ease and wasn’t bombarded with questions. I asked them to hold the car while I secured the funds, and they gave me enough time to do so. The paperwork process was quick and easy. When it was time to get the keys, they discovered the battery had died and had a mechanic troubleshoot the issue. I specifically asked them not to jump-start it, as I didn’t want to risk getting stranded later due to a weak battery. So new battery was installed. Props to them for that! While I waited, the sales associate Janice offered to buy me dinner. I declined because I wanted to get home, but they insisted that I can go to dinner later and they would cover it. They kept their word—I sent them the receipt, and three days later I received a check in the mail. That was a nice recovery for the inconvenience caused by the battery. Overall, I had a very pleasant buying experience from start to finish. It was a totally different and much better experience than a traditional dealership.”
