“I have to give it one star because it won't let me give 0 stars. The staff at Oxmoor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram wasn't necessarily rude, they simply don't have knowledge of how to properly fix vehicles. Especially when it comes to Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Plug-In PHEV. I even asked them if they have serviced these specific hybrid models and they assured me that they have many times before. Yet I literally did my own research and found out the answer to what was wrong. When I found out the answer, I went to the dealership to tell my service advisor Amanda, and she still refused to try it. Our vehicle had not been charged in some time and yes it can run off gas but not for forever. Eventually if it never gets charged, it goes into a limp mode, and the vehicle will come on but will only allow you to go about 3 feet. It will also make a loud rattling noise coming from the engine area. When this happens, it overloads the vehicle, and the check engine light will come on. When you go to pull codes from the check engine light it will send a litany of codes because the system is overloaded and malfunctioning. So those codes are bogus codes. If you choose to pay attention to those codes, you will actually cause more damage to the vehicle because you will be fixing parts of the engine that don't need fixing! The solution is to plug the vehicle in and let it charge!! It charges the vehicle and refreshes the system. All of the check engine codes go away, and the vehicle can function normally! I pleaded with the people at Oxmoor CDJR and told them to please try plugging it in and they refused. Finally, after two days, my wife and I were fed up and decided to have the vehicle towed back to our house. We borrowed our neighbor's charger, put it on charge over night for 12 hours. Next morning I went to start it up, and wouldn't you know it, it started up great! Just as I predicted from my own research, this is exactly what it needed. The vehicle runs great and is very efficient. I tried and tried to get them to do this and Oxmoor CDJR refused. Said that the vehicle was a can of worms and there was ton of work that it was going to need. Keep in mind that it is a 2022 with only 55,000 miles on it. Bottom line, they don't know what they are talking about and they are definitely not experts. Even when I brought the answer to them, they still refused! Unbelievable. Needless to say, we'll never be back for any reason.”
