“This could have been a five star except for a request for information that has not been fulfilled. The dealer installed options on the car I was considering included "Weather Proofing". Its over $500.00. I ultimately purchased a car that included this dealer installed option. Before and during the sale price negotiations, I asked the sales person for information or a brochure on this option and was assured that I would get something. I received nothing. After the price was negotiated and paperwork signed, I was sent to a finance manager. I again mentioned the "Weather Proofing" in our meeting and was told there was a individual that could provide it. Shame on me, I left the dealership without the requested information. Since I left the dealership, I have emailed the sales person, phoned the finance manager, received two and returned two phone calls from a sales manager and still have no information. I suspect new every car on the lot has "Weather Proofing" applied by the dealer. I'm disappointed that it is so difficult to see what benefit is for what I paid for. I think the only cost the dealer incurred for providing "Weather Proofing" is the ink used to print the window sticker.”
