“We probably had the easiest car-buying experience we've ever had at this dealership. Usually, I get my Subaru serviced here, but my husband found a gently used Subaru Outback he was interested in, and we stopped by to check it out. One of the salespeople, Mike Groome, saw us looking and invited us inside. He presented us with the vehicle history and the best possible price given that history. We left, thought about it, and called him to confirm the sale. Within a matter of hours, we were back at the dealership with all necessary materials, and we left with the keys, the car, and a dealer warranty shortly thereafter. Easy peasy - great experience.”

“I had an outstanding experience working with Mike Groome at Kia of Dulles. I drove all the way from Philadelphia to Virginia to purchase my vehicle, and I’d do it again without hesitation. From start to finish, Mike was exceptionally communicative, responsive, and transparent throughout the entire process. Before I even made the trip, Mike took the time to FaceTime with me and walk through multiple vehicles, answering questions and making sure I felt confident before hitting the road. What truly set him apart was his honesty—after driving the vehicle to prep it for my test drive, he proactively pointed out a noise he heard from the tire well (something most salespeople would conveniently “miss”). He then helped determine the cause, which turned out to be very minor. That level of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. Mike was professional, kind, and customer-focused in every sense of the word. He even went above and beyond by handling the return of my out-of-state Enterprise rental to the nearest location—saving me time and stress. And yes
 he walked my dog while I completed paperwork. That alone deserves an award đŸ¶đŸ‘. Kia of Dulles is a family-owned dealership, and it shows in how they treat people. I genuinely wish they operated in Philly. I highly recommend Mike Groome and this dealership to anyone looking for an honest, smooth, and genuinely human car-buying experience. If you’re on the fence—go. If you’re far away—still go. Mike is the real deal.”

“I went to this dealership with my wife and our 3-month-old baby, and what should have been a simple visit turned into a 4 hour headache. We spent over an hour going back and forth on the APR — even though they advertised a specific rate on their own website and we clearly told them our budget upfront. Instead of being transparent, they kept coming back with different numbers every time. After finally agreeing on a deal we were comfortable with, we signed the pre-paperwork and they ran our credit. About 30 minutes later, the finance person rushed us into signing final documents without explaining anything. He also claimed our first payment would be due in 45 days, even though the deal we agreed to was 90 days. When I pushed back, he denied it until he “checked with his boss,” and suddenly it was possible. Then the excuses started — he couldn’t reach the bank, then said the dealership would pay the first payment themselves, which still didn’t add up. Even worse, he didn’t understand the basic math on what 90 days actually means. Only after I explained it did he realize I was correct. His final offer was to cut us a check for the first full payment and half of the second, which still didn’t match the 90-day no-payment deal they advertised. At the end, after wasting hours of our time (in bad weather, with a newborn), the manager came out rude, refused to honor their own advertised terms, and basically said they didn’t want to make the deal — with zero apology. Meanwhile, they had already run my credit. This was a complete waste of time and felt like a bait-and-switch situation. Be very careful if you’re a first-time buyer — the rushing, the false advertising, and the tactics here were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If you can’t keep up with a deal, then don’t false advertise and don’t shake hands. I’ve even bought a Kia Optima here back in 2019, so I wasn’t there to waste their time. They made me never want to buy a Kia again, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.”

“On 10-21-25 I spoke to Scott in the service department, stating our 2020 Kia Soul engine light had come on that morning, we brought it to our local mechanic who did a diagnostics showing the Transmission Oil Pump needed replacement. And he said your car is covered by warranty, bring it to a Kia dealership to get repaired. So Scott told me that if indeed the repair is the transmission Oil pump, yes it is covered under the powertrain warranty, so we brought the car to dulles Kia later that morning. three days later we go to pick up the car, and Scott tells me I need to pay $1145 for the repair and that it isn't covered under warranty according to his Kia computer part system. I stated you told me over the phone that this was covered under the warranty, he replied he never said that, I stated you did, so now I know Scotts a lier, so I asked him to get the General Manager, he ignores me. Then he says he will try to run this thru their courtesy warranty coverage, whatever that is? He calls me on 11-6-25 and says the courtesy warranty was approved for the parts only and asks me to help him out with the labor part of the bill. I again declined stating it is covered under warranty and you (Scott) told me it was. I have attached a copy of the warranty book page showing the part is covered under the warranty, and that the Transmission oil pump is an internal part of the transmission. All Kia owners, skip the service department at Dulles Kia, they are not trust worthy. If the repair wasn't covered by the warranty I would have left the car at our mechanic to fix rather than bring it to Kia, Scott lied to me and continues to lie. I have left 2 messages for Sam Hamden the General Manager to help resolve this, no call back?”

“Life has been lifing lately and I was in desperate need for a car! I did not think it was going to be possible with my circumstances to get into a car that I could afford and would be reliable. GO SEE ADAM! He's is the best of the best!!! Very professional and he found me the cutest car that I can depend on and within my budget.
