“I will always use giles, had manu issues with my extended warranty company and it was a nite mare, but our advisor Gabe was amazing. Kept me up to date with all repairs, went head on with the warranty company and really made a terrible situation much better. I recommend him to anybody that goes to giles nissan service, this guy's amazing at what he does and hes compassionate for others. 5stars forsure. Thanks gabe!”

“Had a great experience. Doneisha was very professional, polite and a total delight. She kept me in the loop the whole time. Her sale manager helped with a deal I never got anywheres else. Both were a credit to Giles Nissan Opelousas. Will always tell my friends how well I was treated.
Thanks again for everything.

“These people wasted 3 hours of my time on a Saturday morning after mailing in all kind of promises that they couldn’t and didn’t deliver on. Don’t waste your time coming to this place, it’s worth the drive to go to literally any other dealership. I will make it one of my life goals to make sure no friends and family members buy a vehicle from any Giles dealership after false advertising with their letter in the mail to us.”

“I had an excellent experience working with Carmen LeMaire and Gabe Anslem at Giles Nissan! Both of them went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled smoothly from start to finish.
Carmen was extremely professional, friendly, and kept me updated every step of the way — she truly made me feel like a valued customer. Gabe was just as helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure my vehicle was taken care of properly.
It’s rare to find people who genuinely care about their customers, but these two absolutely do. The service was fast, honest, and high quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Carmen and Gabe to anyone needing service at Giles Nissan!”

“My wife drives a 2018 Nissan Armada SL. Last year on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 we started experiencing slipping from our transmission. We made a service appointment to have our vehicle inspected. We received a call from the Giles Nissan service department saying our transmission was inspected and good. We picked up our vehicle and continued to experience slipping from our transmission.
Fast forward to October 17, 2025 our family was out in our Armada and when I put the vehicle in reverse to park, it did not engage. I then adjusted the shift to drive and we moved forward. I switched back to reverse and nothing happened! On Monday October 20, 2025 we made another service appointment. Our transmission was then deemed no good and needing to be fully replaced. Our extended warranty was up as of September 29, 2025. We then received a quote of $6,783.31 for a used transmission or $11,291.31 for a new transmission. This was the moment we brought up the fact to Carmen, who was our service advisor this day and the year before, that we had our transmission checked exactly 1 year ago by GILES Nissan service department and the transmission was deemed good. We were able to verify that on September 29, 2024 GILES Nissan service department inspected our 2018 Nissan Armada's transmission for the transmission problem that we had presented previously. Carmen then responded that she would contact Nissan and see if they would give us any help.
The next day we received a text message from Carmen stating that Nissan would not take full responsibility and they offered to pay 60% of the 11,291.31 and that we would be responsible for the other 40% bringing our total to $6000 after tax. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable. Our 2018 Nissan Armada SL has 86,000 miles. We believe this transmission was defective from the beginning and really showed signs of that last year when we brought it in to be fixed. Had GILES Nissan taken our inspection and service seriously, we could've gotten ahead of this issue while our warranty was still effective. After googling the vehicle and its transmission reviews online, we have learned there are many others who have experienced transmission problems with their Nissan Armada as well. Nissan should take full responsibility knowing they have sold many faulty transmissions with their brand.
I also drive a 2017 Nissan Titan with the same engine and transmission as the Armada and I experience the same issues. We both will most definitely not be purchasing a Nissan for our next vehicle.”
