“These people are awful! Thorpe has a great team with great prices and great payments! They are horrible to work with and care nothing about service or the people they supposedly help after the sale. We definitely do not recommend! We recently bought a Hyundai 2015 Veloster within 2 weeks the check engine lights came on the coil packs we're not working properly and the spark plugs where in bad shape. This past Saturday coming home from the lake the engine basically was not able to accelerate my daughter and her boyfriend lost speed on the highway the car started smoking and when they checked the oil it had no oil in it. It had leaked out. As for there being no check engine lights on when we bought the car I have a theory about that just can't prove it. I called Thorpe automotive and they say the car was bought as is but if I could get it down to the mechanic on the other side of Knoxville from where I'm at the car does not move I am on a fixed income and that I would have to pay for a tow truck to have their mechanic look at it and once the mechanic finds out what's wrong they will decide whether or not they will pay for it. I informed them that I cannot afford what a tow truck would cost to get down there and the owner's attitude was like oh well not my problem. Never buy a car from Thorpe Automotive after all is said and done I feel that they are shady people to work with. If you noticed on their reviews they are almost all fives do not trust the reviews because the owner will ask you for your phone that he can do a review for you. Buyer beware and stay clear. If I could change the amount of stars already given to them they would be in the negative.”

I was never pressured to buy a car an he never tried to talk me into buying one. He told me one way or another well Make it happen and they did and on top of that kept there word on what they said they would fix if I had a problem.
