“I had an amazing experience purchasing my new vehicle at Kayser Chevrolet! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Alex was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I found the right vehicle, and never made me feel pressured. The entire team was friendly and efficient, and I drove away feeling confident and excited about my purchase. I highly recommend Kayser Chevrolet and especially Alex to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience!”

“I genuinely appreciate the people at this dealership and have generally had positive interactions with the staff. That said, I believe ownership should take a closer look at the pricing practices within the service department. Charging well over the local market average—by more than 100% in some cases—for routine parts raises concerns. For example, being quoted $69.95 for a basic engine air filter and $64.95 for a cabin air filter is significantly higher than surrounding market comparisons, which are roughly 70% less for the same items.
I understand that dealerships are businesses and markups are expected; however, typical market markup is closer to 30%. Pricing far beyond that, particularly for standard maintenance items without added value or warranty, understandably erodes consumer trust.
Additionally, after declining those recommended services, I noticed that the cabin air filter access plate was not properly secured. While this may have been an oversight, it was disappointing and caused me to question the overall attention to detail and professionalism in the service process.
I am not writing this as a complaint, but rather out of disappointment. In today’s economic climate especially, customers hope for a mindset of care, integrity, and workmanship—treating each vehicle as if it were one’s own and ensuring all work is completed properly and securely. Unfortunately, some interactions with service personnel felt dismissive and avoidant, which detracts from an otherwise positive dealership experience.
I continue to return because many of the employees are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about their work. With more thoughtful pricing practices and consistent attention to detail, I believe the service department—and ownership—could do better and further strengthen customer trust.”

“I am very disappointed with my experience at Kayser.
I contacted the dealership after seeing a Suburban that had just been posted online. I was told the vehicle was not yet ready to be shown because it still needed to go through detailing. I explained that I was very interested and offered to place a deposit to hold the vehicle until it was ready for a test drive.
I was then told that three issues had been identified that needed to be repaired and that a hold could not be placed on the vehicle. This struck me as unusual, as every other dealership I have worked with has been willing to accept a deposit to hold a vehicle.
I followed up multiple times with the salesperson:
• On the first follow-up, I was told the repairs had not yet been completed.
• On the second follow-up, I was told the parts were on order.
• On the third follow-up, I was told the vehicle should be ready by the following afternoon or early evening.
Less than an hour later, I received a message stating that the vehicle had been sold—despite the repairs reportedly not being completed.
I questioned how the vehicle could be sold to another buyer when I had been told I could not even view it until the repairs were finished.
The only explanation provided was that it had been purchased by a family member of another employee. Unfortunately, this made the entire process feel inconsistent and unprofessional.
While I genuinely liked the salesperson and appreciated their communication, the overall experience left me with little confidence in the dealership’s process. As a result, I would not consider purchasing a vehicle from Kayser in the future.”

“Best car buying experience I have ever had at Kayser Janesville. Found exactly what I wanted (used certified, 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali) for a competitive price and their Certified Warranty added the value I was looking for. They also gave me more than I had anticipated for my trade in. My salesman, Alex, was professional, easy to deal with, and not pushy. Military and First Responder friendly. Perhaps most importantly, my wife couldn’t be more thrilled at the insanely nice big truck I just bought for myself thanks to Alex and Kayser Chev/Buick/GMC of Janesville, WI. They understood that making HER happy was important to me. ;)”

“I worked with Mark and Dan to purchase a 2026 Aluma 548 BT trailer. Mark was excellent at providing information via our initial email conversations. I shopped around and found pricing to be fair, they even offered to match pricing on any identical models if I found any within their sales area. They also remained patient with me as it took me longer to stop in to see the trailer than originally planned. The paperwork was quick and easy with Dan, and he did a great job answering any questions I had. He also made sure to go over all the features on the trailer with me, and helped to check all trailer lights were working before I hit the road. Trailer is fantastic, well built, super light and easy to move, exactly what I wanted and needed. Overall, great experience working with Kayser!”
