He had an urgent health issue come up so we had to make the change, and Jim and Vicki were very understanding and patient and helpful. “I almost lost my life on 7/30/25 when I drove my repaired 2010 Honda Civic off this lot. Got it towed by AAA from my apartment after it wouldn't start on 7/23/25. Battery only 14 months old, so thought it was something more serious. It arrives at this dealership and they tell me all I need is a battery replacement. Pay the $448 to have it replaced, go to pick my car up, and as I'm waiting to receive my vehicle, they tell me my car won't start. Start crying because I'm a 23 year old with severe panic disorder and anxiety. Service manager Amber then tells me it's somehow my "break pedal" that's draining my battery and they'll "replace it" for free. Didn't understand, but was like "alright". Few days go by, and then they tell me it's the ALTERNATOR. every day it's something new. Pay the $750 and finally get my car on 7/30/25. Send my mom a happy text and leave to go home. As soon as I turn on Philips Highway I hear and feel something dragging. I tell myself not to panic and to just get home. 30 seconds later I'm on I-95 and the dragging is feeling and sounding worse. A couple minutes later, something feels like it explodes and I lose control and end up in the shoulder on the highway. It turned out my entire wheel well just fell off causing me to lose control. I immediately called 911. Couldn't feel my hands or my face. Police never even came, despite seeing 3 police cars pass right by me. What if I was dead? Would an officer care then? Thank god for this FDOT Road Ranger "Greg" that stopped for me and made sure I was alright and had enough water at 12:09pm in Florida heat. This is when I call Honda and the service manager "Amber Winters" asks me if I hit something. I go "um no". She even tried to get me to take my car BACK THERE to get it repaired for the FOURTH TIME. I tell her I won't be bringing my car back there and she snidely goes "Okay...". Currently in the middle of a legal battle. Do not bring your car here if you want to live.”
