“I was at this dealership on 7/29/25 for oil leak on my
2018 Mazda3GT.
Had them check for the source of this oil leak.. appeared to be from the oil pan … verified by
Ray Skillman service department.
Left my car with them on the following Tuesday.
on 8/1/25 it was ready for pick up. I go and pick up on 8/2 @ noon. Drive home and on 8/3
oil is still leaking (worse) from the just REPAIRED oil pan seal
It was re-done 3 times.
When I get a phone call to come
Pick it up they tell me service
manager / tech/ service writer
It isn’t the oil pan seal it’s now the Rear Main Seal. A
Whopping $1800 to fix!!
I leave in utter disbelief …
How can a job go from a small leak to a huge leak & then only to turn out to be the rear main seal… not adding up!
Went to Stanley Chevrolet
(My car is a Mazda3 GT)
Told them what was going on
and now confusion as to what is going on with my car.
Zac the service manager suggested to run blue dye in it to track the leak. 500 miles later take it in & I see with my own eyes it’s a horrible RTV
sealant applied and a bent oil pan in 3 areas!!!!!
They got it fixed one try in one day!!!
So I went back to Ray Skillman
Northeast to address the damages they did while under
repairs in their certified authorized repair center.
What a Joke- tried to rip me off.
I met up with Cory the GM

and to my disbelief it WAS NOT

Unbelievable … I call Cory
Asked him if his word and a handshake meant anything ?
He said yes, when I told him tne check wasn’t the price we agreed to … he was silent then responded that’s not the amount I told the service manager to send to you, I’ll have the remaining amount sent out today.
That was over a week ago.
Truly in shock at the level of deception this place operates at. I will never return & will tell
others not to deal with this dealership.
The Service Department is the selling point for any new car buyer… not this place shop else where folks!!!!!

“If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Let me start by saying that everything was great when we first visited. We test-drove a vehicle, decided to buy it, and drove it home. However, the very next day, the car started giving us problems. We called Ray Skillman to report the issues, and they assured us that everything was fine. They asked us to bring the car back and promised to put us in a loaner until it was fixed.
They kept the car in their “shop” for two whole months without giving us any updates. Finally, they informed us that the car needed a new transmission. Unfortunately, they couldn’t replace it. It’s been almost four months now, and we’re still stuck in the loaner they provided. They’ve been unable to find us a suitable vehicle that meets our family’s needs.
We decided to take our business elsewhere because it was clear that they were prioritizing their loaner over our needs. Don’t fall victim to this place. You’ll end up buying a faulty vehicle and dealing with unnecessary hassle. At least they gave us our money back that we had intentionally put down, which is the least they could do.”

“My experience with everyone was fantastic from beginning to end. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, and at no point did I feel rushed or pressured. That alone made the entire process far more enjoyable and stress-free than I expected.
Darius was especially helpful and incredibly patient while I took the time to decide which model best fit what I was looking for. He answered just about every question I had (and there were a lot), explained things clearly and thoroughly, and made sure I fully understood my options before moving forward. His professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail truly stood out and made me feel confident throughout the process.
The other young gentleman who was assisting us as well—unfortunately I can’t recall his name—was equally impressive. He was extremely knowledgeable about each model and even went into detail about recalls Mazda has had on one of them. My boyfriend is a mechanic and had brought this up as a possible concern, so the fact that it was addressed openly and honestly really caught me off guard in the best way. That level of transparency and product knowledge builds a lot of trust and clearly reflects how well-trained your team is.
Overall, the teamwork, patience, and expertise displayed by everyone I interacted with left a lasting impression on me. From what I can tell, you have an outstanding group of people representing your dealership, and it absolutely shows in the customer experience you provide.”
