I was however able to get in at Stoops GMC in Plainfield and was able to get my recall fixed and had an oil change. I highly recommend Stoops. Skillman not so much.”

“I had an excellent experience with the service department at Ray Skillman GMC this week when I brought in my 2020 Silverado for a transmission fluid change and oil change. My service advisor, Gabe, was professional, knowledgeable, and kept me well informed throughout the entire process. While I was waiting in the customer lounge (a little over an hour), I was personally checked on multiple times; something I honestly had never experienced at a dealership before. A gentleman named Jamie came in, asked if I knew the status of my truck, introduced himself, and went to personally check on it. I later found out he is the regional manager. Shortly after that, Gloria also stopped to check on me and offered to look into the status as well. Darrell, the Service Manager, followed up too and was very personable and professional. Throughout all of this, Gabe remained involved and kept everything moving smoothly. After bringing my truck home, I noticed a small transmission pan gasket leak (it happens). I returned the next morning and spoke with Gabe and Darrell. Without any hesitation, they immediately took care of the issue, provided a loaner vehicle, and made the entire return visit completely stress-free. Gloria even recognized me from the day before and checked in to see why I was back. The repair was handled promptly, everything was resolved, and the overall experience; from start to finish was outstanding. The level of customer service, communication, and accountability shown by their entire team was excellent, and I truly appreciate the effort they put in. This is exactly how a service department should operate. I will definitely make this place my preferred dealership. Highly recommended.”
