First, let me really praise the salesperson whose name is Paris. She was amazing! I say this because, as she said it, I'm not mean, I'm just very direct. I truly was with everyone who works at that organization. Only because I knew exactly what I wanted, I knew exactly what I was going to pay, and I wasn't going to budge, so there was a lot of stuff going on. However, Paris, as our salesperson, didn't let anything fluster her. She was so kind and sweet, and she was really nice to myself and my wife. I can't say enough good things about her, and I'm glad she was our salesperson. If it wasn't for her, I probably would have walked, but she was very good at smoothing things over and listening to what I had to say. Paris had another appt. when it was time for taking care of the paperwork and that's where Martin stepped in. I had quick rapport with him and everything moved along fluidly. He also went over the vehicle with my Bride while I was finishing up the paperwork. He also showed her how to get our phones paired with the Buick. I also worked with Alex who also was good to work with, even though we had a couple misunderstandings, we persevered and we worked through it. Finally, Chase came over from their Chevrolet dealership just because they knew I was growing inpatient and they wanted to get the deal done for me. I appreciate him being so busy yet getting over there and helping me get the paperwork finished with the financing I wanted. They beat my home bank on the interest rate, and getting us out the door. I can let you all know that if you know what you're doing you can work yourself a good deal. Now trust me even when you work a good deal the dealership is still going to make their money that's how they stay in business. You can't expect them to give you something for nothing. However I knew how to swing a deal and I knew what I was shooting for! They absolutely met my price after we bickered back in forth for a little while, lol! Update: Our Buick is having what appears to be electrical problems so it's in their shop at Cable Dahmer. I understand I have 150,000 views which I really thank you all. With that being said I will absolutely update this post on how everything turns out. Cable Dahmer has the 14 day return on the vehicle if you're unhappy and get another one similar miles and price. I don't want a different vehicle, but if there's a real electrical problem, I'm really hoping they won't try to put a band aid on it, and that they will honor what they say they will do. However, like I said, I don't want a different vehicle, but I also don't want a vehicle with electrical problems that they cannot resolve. You will all be receiving an update soon and I will let you know the outcome of the complete ordeal. Okay for my 150K views let me give you the lowdown on my 2023 Buick Enclave and getting it back from the dealership. The ACC which was my biggest grievance is still inoperable! This is the 4th vehicle I've had with ACC and the only one that it's been inoperable. Why would this be, well according to Carfax this vehicle has never been in an accident, but that's not what the front bumper tells me. The bumper has hit something, or when the repo people came in and swooped the vehicle up, they caused the damage! That's right it's a repo, and how would I know that? They had to send a release of lien letter, and it states right on the letter; repossession. Now I'm not sure how much the dealership is responsible for knowing about the vehicles they sell but the fact that the cars ACC is inoperable, and they sold me a repo even though they don't have to divulge that fact, it really feels like a breach of contract. I know they don't want to replace the bumper and they won't! I'll just live with the Buick for a few years and be done with it! By the way, Buick Enclaves are known for their electrical problems, not to mention transmission and other problems. Personally I would avoid the Enclave, and now they're going to a 4cyl engine; absolute garbage! Now I know why they let me have such a good deal!!!!

My experience at Cable Dahmer Buick GMC of Independence was extremely stressful and confusing, and this review reflects only my personal experience and perceptions. I dropped off my 2016 Buick Encore on Oct 24, 2025 for a diagnostic that cost over $1,000. I was told I would get my quote Monday morning, but on Oct 27 I was told there was an IT issue “only on my account,” then later told by a manager that several customers had the same issue. The conflicting information made me uneasy. I never received an electronic quote and had to go in person. On Oct 28 I was told repairs would cost over $18K, which in my opinion seemed unusually high. I bought a car elsewhere. When I returned on Nov 14 to pick up paperwork and remove my plates, I asked about selling my Buick. A salesperson met with me, left me waiting about 30 minutes, then took me outside, away from employees, covered his dealership logo, and said “This is me” while offering $250. In my perception, this felt unclear and unsafe. He then told me I needed to drive him to McDonald’s in my BMW to sign the title because it “couldn’t be signed on company property,” which to me was a major red flag. I gathered my things, told him I needed to make a call, and left for my safety. I reported it to HR, who said management was aware, but when I arrived, the manager claimed he had no idea what was happening. The conflicting statements added to my concern. The salesperson approached me again inside in a way that felt uncomfortable to me. Management said he had “permission,” but the explanation did not match what I personally experienced. I no longer felt comfortable selling the car there. On Nov 19, a junk car service legally purchased it for $700 instead of the $250 offered. In my opinion, the inconsistent communication, unclear boundaries, and the off-site title request created an experience that felt unprofessional and unsafe. I hope future customers document everything and keep all transactions on-site and on the books.

We had out Buick picked up from my wife's work early in the morning. The porters did an excellent job transporting the vehicle to and from the dealership. Unfortunately, the Service Department was in no rush to change the Oil and Rotate the Tires until late in the day. My wife's shift at work ended before the car was returned. She had to hitch a ride home with a friend. My wife was highly inconvenienced by the slow service. She called the Service Manager to see what caused the hold up. No answer. She left a message. It has been three days and still no call back. We had much higher expectations for this dealership. Now we are starting to question our loyalty. Please do a better job of communicating with your customers. Ghosting them is not professional. Strongly considering cancelling my service plan and taking my business elsewhere.

Jaren Friend and his service team went above and beyond to diagnose and fix an ongoing issue I have had with my car for several months now. I was feeling very discouraged having gone to a separate dealership numerous times regarding this issue without any resolution but I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly and efficiently Jaren's team was able to identify and resolve the issue. Jaren provided me with timely updates on my vehicle throughout the entire process and I could not be happier with their services. He made sure that I was happy with the results and that the issue was resolved before I left the dealership. Should I have any other issues with my car arise in the future (hopefully not), I will certainly be returning to this location for service!!

The staff at this car dealership are hardworking and truly amazing people. Given the limitations of my English proficiency, Peter successfully grasped what I was looking for, ultimately allowing me to obtain my desired outcome.
