“I had a coupon for an oil change so I brought my car in. Of course the coupon did not cover synthetic oil so that was a $10 surcharge. A few minutes later they call me in and ask if I’ve had any problems starting my car. My car has been running perfectly. Well it’s still sitting in the car port and I’m informed my battery is dead. That was a surprise! Another $360 charge. I ask to have the old battery put in my trunk and told I have to pay a NYS core charge of $20. I look it up and in fact there was a $5 charge for taking your old battery. Why are they charging 4 times the amount? I am so dissatisfied with this dealership service department. My experience has been that they try to make as much money as possible. I asked about a seatbelt light that was constantly on and told it would cost $135 or more for a diagnostic. Give me a break.”
