My husband and I came up to see you guys on 2/20/26, Tameika Hawkins took super good care of us. She took the time to answer all our questions and we can’t thank her enough. All the people at VannYork are exceptional. I should know this is my second car new purchased there. That’s saying a lot for me because I have a Honda dealership about five miles from my home.

Went to Vann York after a co-worker recommended it. I had a bad experience at Capitol Subaru and was telling my co-worker about it. He told me he bought his car at Vann York back in 2018 and had a good experience. I'm glad he recommended it. The guy at Subaru added floor mats, mud flaps and a transportation fee (adding over $2500)to the cost of the car and then tried to tell me it was illegal to remove those cost. Vann York didn't do this at all. I called to get pricing and Dave answered (turns out he's a manager there), he gave me the info I wanted with no hesitation. He wasn't sure if they had the trim I wanted and instead of just lying and saying they did have it to get me into the dealership, he asked if he could call me back after checking. They did have the trim and I went in for a test drive. I worked with a young man named Jeremiah. He wasn't pushy or attempted to act like he didn't care if I purchased or not. He was chill and informed about the vehicle I wanted. I got a good deal on the car and even financed with them after they offered me a better APR than my credit union. Overall I definitely recommend this place. I'm a HUGE toyota fan and only owned toyota sedans before this. I wanted to get an SUV but didn't want a big car so I looked into the Subaru Crosstrek and the HRV. As I mentioned before the Subaru experience was a bust. The HRV is great though. I'm happy with my purchase and my experience with Vann York Honda.

We had one of the most belittling and unprofessional car buying experiences at Vann York Honda. We came in specifically to look at a 2023 Honda Pilot that had been on the lot for nearly three months and were told word for word that the dealership was “motivated to sell”. Once we sat down, that quickly proved to be untrue. We worked with Marquis Mitchell, the General Sales Manager, and the interaction felt dismissive and condescending from the start. Despite having outside financing secured and being ready to move forward, we were told “you’re looking at the wrong car” and were repeatedly pushed towards looking at a used Nissan Pathfinder instead, ironically after another staff member had spoken negatively about Pathfinder transmissions. They lowballed our trade and was not willing to budge on any numbers. So much for “motivation to sell”. It became clear they were not interested in earning our business. The good news is we immediately found a very different experience at another Honda dealership. We were welcomed, treated with respect, and given a better deal on our trade and on a NEWER Honda Pilot with better incentives such as new tires, breaks, and lifetime warranty. The 2 hour drive to Scott Clark Honda in Charlotte was well worth it! (Picture of our 2024 Honda pilot from Charlotte location attached) Based on our experience, if you encounter Marquis during your visit, I would strongly consider leaving and working with another dealership.

This is my 3rd lease on a Honda HR-V at Vann York Honda and there are very good reasons why I keep coming back. Don Pennetta, my sales associate for my second and now third HR-V, listens to me and understands exactly what I am looking for in my car and how he help fit it into my budget. This isn’t always easy! Don always picked up his phone, was available on site, was communicative and readily gave me the information I needed. The staff at this dealership treated me with care and much respect. I had a lot of questions and the answers were explained to me in detail by all. Sales Manager, Richard Hamilton, personally assisted me with particular issues and was a stellar gentleman. Finance Manager, Gene Kinney, fielded many more questions from me, was very efficient and also very understanding. After the all the paper work was done and my new HR-V was pulling up for me to drive home, Chris Thompson, the General Manager of Vann York Honda checked in with me to see if all was well and to thank me! I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of all these gentlemen and how they made what I consider a very stressful experience gentler and kinder. Thank you! I highly recommend Vann York Honda for your next Honda automobile.

I would recommend this dealership 1,000 times if I could!!! I just purchased a 2022 Honda Accord Sport & Jeremy Shadrick was one of the most accommodating, knowledgeable and most trustworthy consultants at Vann York Honda. He made sure everything was perfect and in great hands before I left the lot. Jeremy made my first experience with buying a car so memorable and couldn’t thank him enough!!
