“I had a car transferred from Fresno for 99.00 to Henderson Nv and they said they can’t sell me the car because it had 178 miles and was considered as a new vehicle. In Nevada they said they cant sell new cars. They said they would sell me the car but they had to drive it to 2500 miles so it wasn’t considered a new vehicle with 2500 miles on it. I said well how long will this take it’s an 40th anniversary present for my wife? They said we don’t know how long it will take. I have bought 4 cars from Carmax and was always happy with my salesman. The last car I bought had touch up pain on a 2023 Mercedes Benz. I didn’t inspect the car because I trusted Carmax and it wasn’t that big a deal. Carmax telling me that can’t sell me the car because it’s considered a new vehicle they shouldn’t have advertised it on their website and took my 99.00. It was a surprise for my wife and I told her what had happened and she said I don’t want a car with bad JUJU on it from the start. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but now I have to come up with another car with zero days left to find before our anniversary. Pretty bummed out about the service and no other way for them to fix this issue.”

“on October 24 I worked with customer service representative Walter in purchasing this Kia Sorrento. The car is a very good car and the sales rep Walter was a very decent one. Today I'm gonna go into the shop and pick up my plates that have come in after three weeks. However I'm already concerned about a matter. The transmission on the car is pretty jittery and has a tough time shifting in between neutral and reverse or park and reverse and I've been pretty concerned with my wife driving the car. Today I will go in and pick up the plates and have the service take a look at it and hopefully this can be a subject table on responsibility for and take care of and a decent period of time. I did purchase the necessary warranties to make sure that the car is safe and can be taken care of and I have an appointment to take it into Kia on Wednesday to make sure that this is a sustainable matter and that I have not been ripped off. So far the experience has been pleasant, but everything is not experienced in some aspect of it has to do with selling broken or unbroken parts so I will have to see if I will need an attorney to take care of this subject if not taking care of this week.”

“It wasn’t a perfect experience, but I still give 5 stars because I truly believe Carrie in corporate and the GM of the store are stand-up people who genuinely care about making sure their customers are happy and in the right vehicle. In the end, everything worked out as it should. Carrie was extremely professional, patient, and helpful throughout the process, and the GM was equally understanding and supportive. I stand by the fact that CarMax sells reliable, well-running vehicles. Two of my children have purchased cars from them, and I recently purchased a Ford F-150 myself. Each time, the vehicles have been excellent. I’ve been very satisfied with the service I’ve received—both when selling my vehicle (fair offer) and when buying one (fair price). I would feel completely confident recommending this dealership to anyone looking to buy a car.”

“I came into CarMax to sell a cargo van and was offered a fair price, which I accepted. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick and professional. The whole process took just a little over an hour. Overall, it was a great experience!”

“Went to the service desk after making an appointment over the phone for an appraisal. The lady couldn't find me or know anything that was going on. Went to the other front of the store where my name was on the appointment board. Told a couple salesmen. One was quick to do it in a timely fashion with a great offer which was nice. So maybe him saying " you're going to be upside down" before even looking at the car wasn't really necessary. Mixed feelings about this place. The guy was nice and fast so that's why the 4 stars. The service desk not knowing about anything and the guys comment brought it down one.”
