Found a great used 2018 Toyota Tundra and proceeded to contact the dealership, where they connected me to Nate Owen’s. Spoke to Nate briefly about getting OTD number and he had no issues getting those for me. We Haggled on the price slightly even though it was already listed for a great price. I then proceeded to drive 2.5 hrs to pick up the truck 4 days later and it was in better condition than I thought. Everything was ready to go upon arrival and we had all the paperwork done in around 20 minutes. No markups or extra stuff tossed in the deal either. All in all if you’re looking for a great dealership with no pushy tactics, good prices and they won’t have you there for 5+ hrs this is the place to come. Thanks again Nate!

On February 11, 2026, my wife and I purchased our first EV, a Chevy Equinox, from Joe Bowman Chevrolet in Harrisonburg, VA. This was our first new car since 2007, for two very different reasons. First, automobiles are evolving rapidly: from ICE, to hybrids, to EVs, all the while with more and more afety features, bells and whistles. Until the evolutionary trend began to settle, we preferred to purchase used vehicles. Second, our past experiences with the high-pressure sales tactics of dealerships was not positive. So it was with some reluctance that we went to a dealership after seeing an online ad for a new Equinox at a deeply discounted price. Fortunately, our experience could not have gone better. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Dakota Wills, a young sales rep with all the right qualities: deeply knowledgeable about Chevy products and automotive trends, helpful but not pushy, straight-talking, and completely dependable to his word. He spent the better part of an afternoon and the next morning with us, setting up test drives, answering questions of all sorts, familiarizing us with all of the car’s features, and guiding us through the legal processes: swapping plates, switching insurance, and finally, financing. We proudly drove the Equinox away, and felt we had made a young friend in the process. Dakota offered to answer any questions that might arise in the future, and we have already taken him up on that offer. There is a lot to learn. Nowadays, purchasing a new automobile is a huge investment in resources and time, with a steep learning curve. It helps immensely to have a sales rep who sees his job more as a coach than a simply a salesman. Thanks Dakota and Joe Bowman Chevy. You did a great job. Expect many more questions!

I can’t remember my salespersons name although he was very nice. I briefly met him & had to come back another day, it happened to be his day off. This is the friendliest group of managers I have ever worked with. I met several the day I bought my Equinox & they were all so helpful and make you feel like you matter. Julie the finance lady is so sweet, friendly & caring. She had my son sign papers to “help” purchase the vehicle and make him feel included. It made his day. I highly recommend this dealership.

I have always dreamed of buying a car on my own even though it’s for our family. This week I was able to with my hard work and the help of Nate at Joe Bowman Chevrolet. Even when I changed my mind on my final pick, he never missed a beat. Also, Julie was down to earth and so helpful in the signing process. She explained things so that I knew what I was signing.
