“This was my first time negotiating a car deal entirely over the phone, and that process was smooth and amazing. Everything was discussed clearly, and I felt confident coming into the dealership to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately, when I arrived for delivery, the agreed-upon price was not reflected on the paperwork. I was told that my salesman, Mike, was not available and that the paperwork was submitted incorrectly. To make things worse, the manager I had dealt with, Steve, was also not present to confirm the agreement. Because of this, I had to return the next day to redo the paperwork and finally complete the delivery. On top of that, the brand-new car had some imperfections — chips in the paint and a flaw on the hood. The manager gave me a written note promising these issues would be corrected at the first service visit, but it was disappointing to see these defects on a new vehicle at delivery. Overall, the phone negotiation was excellent, but the in-person delivery experience was disorganized and frustrating. Communication and quality control need improvement so customers don’t go through unnecessary delays and surprises.”
