“My wife and I drove over two hours from Fort Hood after Shottenkirk CDJR Granbury told me they’d “give me a deal” on a truck listed around $41k if I came before a storm hit. After negotiating, we agreed on $40.7k OTD. I signed their preliminary paperwork, rang the bell, and was told the deal was done. Then the games started. They suddenly refused to accept my pre‑approved outside loan. I wasn’t happy, but their rate was slightly better, so I moved forward. An hour later, the same manager who negotiated with me came back and claimed they “couldn’t honor” the price anymore. When I asked what it would actually take to buy the truck, he told me $44.5k OTD—almost $4k higher than the number they had just celebrated. This dealership used fake urgency, a storm, and my long drive to pressure me into paying thousands more. Their tactics were deceitful, manipulative, and downright scummy. A $3k swing means nothing to a dealership, but it can seriously impact a Solder and his family. I won’t be doing business with them, and others should be cautious.”

“Had a fantastic experience with Shottenkirk's Service in Grandbury on my Tacoma limited Monday. 8 point inspection but they worked with me on an oil change I could not finish myself because of the filter canister being on so tight from whoever did the last oil change. I also came out on the price to get it done. Super friendly folks who met me at the front of the Showroom as I was making my way to the Service Department. Very Professional that deserve your business. There was also two good looking low mileage Trucks there that could be a great ride for someone looking for a Toyota.”

“Very pleased! They treated me as if i had purchased the truck there! Took my 2021 2500 mega cab in for service, ended up needing a new turbo. Had it about a week, and to be fair there was a change in service manager while it was in there. I picked it up and the next day check engine light came on again, no boost, no exhaust brake. Called new manager, Brandon and he had me take it back in for diagnosis. Needed an new DPF, they gave me a loaner vehicle, had it for another week and has been running great since I picked it up! Honestly I feel like I got better service from Shottenkirk Dodge than I have at dealership where it was purchased! On a side note, they did not treat me the typical way women can be treated by dealership service depts. Thank you!”
