I searched for a RAM 1500 Limited and Tate was the best deal I got. Customer service was great. My car salesman, Carlos, was energetic and willing to help me out with any questions I had. He went above and beyond went it came down to finding the right vehicle and was honest with me the entire time. Definitely ask for Carlos if you're looking to purchase from Tate Used Cars!

This dealership is friendly and professional only until an issue arises. Once there is a problem, communication stops and concerns are dismissed. Within two weeks of leasing the vehicle and under 500 miles, we contacted the dealership with serious concerns about accessibility and our ability to safely and reasonably use the vehicle due to documented health and mobility limitations. We contacted the General Manager multiple times by phone and email and never received any response. When we reached out to our sales representative during that initial period, we were told that we were “stuck in the vehicle for at least a year.” The only suggestion offered was to purchase aftermarket steps at our own expense, and it was made clear that no other resolution would be considered. Being told we were simply “stuck” was not only unhelpful, but dismissive given the nature of the concerns. Instead of any attempt to work with us, one sales manager stated, “You test drove it, so get over it,” which was completely unprofessional—especially when accessibility concerns were clearly being raised. Additionally, the vehicle was dirty inside at delivery and had to be cleaned by the dealership. Even after that, it did not present as a brand-new vehicle. We also experienced poor communication regarding plates/registration, requiring us to chase information ourselves. This experience made it clear that once paperwork is signed, this dealership has little interest in customer safety, accessibility, or follow-through. I am sharing this so other customers do not go through the same frustrating and disappointing experience.

Our salesman Fred Martin was wonderful to us. Having multiple issues from Tate Dodge as a dealership previously, Fred was very attentive and solved any issues that arose with “our new to us” van. Fred is obviously very experienced in the world of cars, if you want someone who has seen a few things and will give it to you straight, THIS is the salesperson you want. Very friendly and full of funny stories, because of him, this is the best Tate Dodge experience we’ve had in a long time. Speaking of “seen some things” that is definitely true for our family when it comes to this dealership. There is not enough hours in the day for us to tell those stories. However, our viewpoint has improved after meeting Fred. Anytime you need service done at this location, Brian Huffer is the best service rep you will come across as well. Brian has been a friend of ours for years, we have trusted him and he has never let us down. We didn’t realize leaving this dealership we would leave with a new car, and a new friend. Thank you Fred!

I would like to commend the entire staff at Tate! Especially Luis! From the moment I stepped onto the lot, it was the best experience I have had thus far purchasing a vehicle. The whole staff was upbeat and welcoming during the entire time of my multi-visits. Luis went over and above helping and explaining everything about my new Jeep. This is why this is our family’s 4th vehicle purchase from this Tate dealership. I LOVE MY NEW 2025 SAHARA!
