“I recently purchased a 2026 Kia Sportage X-Line from Ron Tonkin Kia in Gladstone and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and listened to. The sales team was friendly, patient, and never pushed me into something I didn’t want. They helped me find the perfect car and walked me through all of the paperwork clearly and transparently.
The buying process was smooth, quick, and hassle-free. When I drove off the lot, I felt confident I made a good decision.

“If I could leave a 0 stars I would. Bought a car from them back in 2016, had to have the original engine replaced in August 2025. They never told me what was wrong with the old engine, didn't get my car back till October 21 2025 and by November 2nd 2025 my engine was on fire and my car is gone. They won't answer my calls or emails about info I need for insurance. Corporate has been a nightmare as well. AVOID KIA! Buy a car from anyone else or any other brand. Please this place isn't safe or reliable. They will put you in harms way.”

“THIS IS THE ALL TIME WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
I brought my car in to be fixed after my ignition and window were broken during an attempted burglary. After a week of them having my car, I was informed the day of pick up that they had ‘lost’ my car, and to make a police report.
We rushed over to the dealership where they admitted they had gotten my car running, and drivable, then left it outside with a busted rear window and a broken ignition. My car was damaged to the point that it didn’t require a key to start the car, so it had obviously been stolen.
In the meantime, I was given a loaner car while waiting for updates on my car from the police. After 2 days of driving the loaner, I noticed the trip permit had expired on 07/12/2025, which was 5 months ago. I had to go out of my way to drive back to the dealership and get the dealer plate so I could legally drive it. As I was leaving, I opened the glove box and found three other loaner agreements from previous customers. These documents included full names, addresses and driver license numbers. Leaving private information in a loaner car is highly inappropriate and a major invasion of privacy. It should have NEVER been left in the car.
As for the loaner, I returned it four days before my car was ready because I was as going on vacation. Two days into my vacation, I received an urgent call, demanding I bring the car back because the plates were expired.
My car was eventually found and towed back to the dealership for repairs. A week and a half later, they claimed my car was fixed. Even though , there was still glass on my seats and on the floor boards. Clearly they did only a light vacuum and didn’t even bother to move my seats to check for any visible glass.
Overall, this dealership has cost me a lot of money, time and emotional stress. They have zero regard for quality customer service, accountability and basic professionalism. I have never felt so disrespected in my life, and I will never bring my car back. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else”

“The Ron Tonkin website was super informative for us to use and see inventory before visiting. We were greeted by sales associate Jacob Linn who helped us immediate test drive the 2 options we were considering. We didn't feel rushed. We drove each until we felt comfortable and during the whole time Jacob was informing us of all the feature and benefits between the two. We asked a lot of questions which we got solid answers to which increased our already confident opinion of wanting to purchase the model. The whole experience was very customer focused. I went in with already an idea of what we wanted, had pre-approved loan and financing option available to me, but I trust they would have given me options if not. The process of the loan and paperwork was seamless. Dealer follow up in not only email and text was great to know I can always get help if needed. Thank you Jacob and Ron Tonkin Kia for getting us into a beautiful new car!”

“What an amazing process this was for me. Aimen was so incredible at quickly responding to my calls and messages and getting me exactly what I was looking for. I sent him what I wanted and when I got the dealership he was waiting outside to greet me. We went on a test drive, he provided me with the carfax and other information about the vehicle. While I waited for paperwork to be printed he offered me and my 2 kids snacks, helped entertain them and kept them occupied while I did all my signing. He helped me transfer over stuff from my old car to my new car and stayed past his shift ending time to make sure all my needs were met. He went above and beyond to make this a smooth process and made this an enjoyable experience. 10/10 recommend. Rebecca who was the finance manager was flawless as well. She spoke with me throughout the day and gave me everything and more that I wanted. She got me the payment I wanted and offered my kids coloring books. Very polite, very kind and incredibly personable. I would very much recommend both of these individuals to handle all your car needs.”
