Anthony in sales was responsive, helpful and communicative throughout our vehicle purchase. I had some special requests that were met with enthusiastic compliance.
No high pressure sales, just honest hard work.
Sales manager Taylor was appreciative of my business and worked especially hard to make sure we were happy with the deal.
Genesis in finance was great to work with, personable, and her follow up was much appreciated.
Brandon in service was also especially helpful assisting in evaluating the mechanical condition of the vehicle. No games here.
The music in the showroom was equally fantastic, and I could tell the employees were also enjoying it.
Everyone I interacted with at this dealership was pleasant, kind and eager to help. Very smooth and quick transaction.

“Fitzgerald Toyota Gaithersburg – Extremely Disappointing and Misleading Experience
I want to share my experience so other people don’t waste their time the way I did.
I dealt with Curt Weinstein at the dealership and Cristian from their online car buying team. From the very beginning, I was 100% transparent about my vehicle. I clearly explained all issues, especially the cracked windshield, and I made sure to mention it twice to avoid any misunderstanding. Each time, I was told it was not a problem and that it was already considered in the offer.
Based on these conversations, we discussed a value around $20,000, and I was encouraged to bring the car in. Trusting their word, I drove approximately 4 hours to the dealership. This was not a short or casual trip — it required time, planning, and expense.
Once I arrived, everything suddenly changed. The same cracked windshield that had been fully disclosed and verbally approved beforehand was now used as an excuse to drop the offer to $15,000. No new issues were discovered. Nothing unexpected came up. The only difference was that I was already there, after driving hours.
This kind of approach feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. You are told one thing to get you in the door, and once you arrive, the deal is completely different. It shows a lack of professionalism, honesty, and respect for the customer’s time.
If there were concerns about the windshield or the price, those should have been addressed before asking someone to drive several hours. Doing it this way is misleading and unacceptable.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering selling or trading a vehicle here get every single detail in writing before making any trip — especially a long one. Do not rely on verbal confirmations or assurances.
This was a frustrating, time-wasting, and disappointing experience, and I would not go through this process with this dealership again.”

“Fitzgerald Toyota Gaithersburg – Poor Communication & Unprofessional Handling
My experience with Curt Weinstein and Cristian at Fitzgerald Toyota Gaithersburg was extremely frustrating due to poor communication and unprofessional behavior.
From the start, communication was inconsistent and unclear. I had to repeat the same information multiple times, yet it felt like details were either ignored or conveniently forgotten later. Messages and calls were vague, and expectations were never clearly confirmed in writing.
Once I arrived at the dealership, it became obvious that there was no real alignment between the online team and the in-store staff. What was discussed beforehand did not match how the situation was handled in person. Instead of taking responsibility or acknowledging the confusion, the conversation shifted in a way that put all the burden on me as the customer.
The overall attitude came across as dismissive and unorganized, especially considering the time and effort required to bring a vehicle in. A professional dealership should value a customer’s time and communicate clearly — not create confusion and then act as if it’s normal.
This experience left me with very little trust in their process. If you plan to work with Fitzgerald Toyota Gaithersburg, be prepared for miscommunication and last-minute changes, and don’t assume internal teams are on the same page.
Unfortunately, this was not the level of professionalism I expected.”
