“We value clear communication, reasonable timelines, and a vehicle that is truly purchase ready. Unfortunately, this location missed the mark on all three. We paid to have a vehicle shipped in and were told we had to add it to our insurance before it even arrived, which meant we paid about 10 unnecessary days of coverage for a car we had not even test driven yet. The car also arrived nearly a month after we paid for shipping. When we finally saw it, it was extremely dirty inside and not close to ready for a customer. The salesperson was aware that one of us is undergoing chemotherapy, so cleanliness mattered, and we were assured it would be cleaned and ready quickly. Instead, we spent hours waiting after being told it was ready, then never received the promised follow up call. When we called to check status, we were told there were two large scratches that needed repair. When we asked if the paint would be OEM standard, we were told it would be done off site and not to OEM standards. We did receive a refund for the shipping cost, but we ultimately purchased elsewhere for the same price with far better quality and service. I do not recommend this dealership. Bottom line: expect better!!”

“🌟 Exceptional Service Still Exists! 🌟 First time at CarMax Arlington, TX and I absolutely LOVED the experience! From the moment I walked in, Mrs. Sherri greeted me with warmth, kindness, and true professionalism. Sam, my service agent, went above and beyond—he helped me get the information I needed and even when he noticed my frustration with paperwork, he stayed patient, calm, and professional the entire time. What truly stood out was the leadership. Mr. Arimus, the manager, stepped in personally and took the time to call the original CarMax where I purchased my car just to make sure I got clear answers. That’s servant leadership in action. It’s obvious this team leads from the top down. Sherri and Sam were knowledgeable, confident, and answered every question with care. This is the kind of customer service that sets the standard. “We sold our car back to CARMAX after having it for only 60 days and having put only 50 miles on it. It sat in the garage the rest of the time. It is a stellar car, but we realized we didn’t need it since I don’t drive as much as I used to and my husband does the driving. Tim Moriarty was exceptional with walking us through the process. He worked to get us a VERY fair offer, which we accepted. Daniella L (Lopez?) was also exceptional with the preparation of the paperwork, and Kat was invaluable with ensuring that everything went smoothly. EXCEPTIONAL customer service, across the board. From the initial contact to the completion of the process. We WILL consider CARMAX first for our future auto purchases. Well done, all. FYI, we’d owned other cars purchased through CARMAX and their service department is also exceptional. You will be pleased with their customer service, and their inventory is always very good.”

“I had a good experience up until 13 days into being in the car! The salesman DEXTER at the Arlington location sold me a 2015 pathfinder and before making the deal, he explained to me that since I wasn’t local, that the dealership have a contract with PEPBoys here in Waco. Well within 13 days literally before my first car payment the car is blowing hot air! So when I contact Dexter he pretty much don’t recall me being in Waco and tells me to bring the car back to the dealership to get looked at. I am 2 hours away.I then asked him about how long this would take, did they have a loaner? Like what’s next?! He pretty much was rude and stated that that’s about it or I have to talk to the manager. He then transferred me to the service department and a guy picks up and pulls my account up and says “you just got this car” I’m like yes sir not even two weeks ago. He then stated that I needed to talk to the person that sold me the car and transferred me back out. Dexter never picked up but made sure he took my money! Then stated very unprofessionally that they don’t do refunds.WHICH IS FINE! If I’m DRIVING FROM WACO, THEN WHY WOULD I WANT A REFUND ANYWAY?! I just want my car fixed because this is within the 30 day WARRANTY! Be aware car buyers! Unless you have extra money AFTER getting in the car to put more money into fixing problems!”
