“Took my vehicle in for a new battery. They sold my personal email to marketing firms and now I'm getting spam email from companies I've never dealt with or shared my email with. Terrible experience. Shameful. UPDATE: This morning, before 8am, someone from the dealership called me to try to get me to change or delete this review. They tried to explain why either it was okay they sold or shared my email with another organization or why it wasn't their fault (there's no other way it would have happened. IN THE MARKETING EMAIL from the other organization they explained it was because of the recent service to my car... this was the only service I've had done or used this email address with in over a year). So add light harassment and empty excuses on top of the other bad experience? I'm not sure I'd trust the high rating on google if they do this with all negative reviews. They've annoyed me enough already, I hung up on him, and he immediately called me back. SMH. I will find ANY OTHER WAY to service my BMW than take it to the dealership. I'll jailbreak my car. I'll get an ODBII reader/writer and use the BimmerCode app. It's MY car and I'll service it myself or at places that will respect my privacy.”
