“Everything started off really good! Elizabeth and Sandra are both very knowledgeable and kind. I knew what kind of car i wanted to be in and the payment range i needed to stick around. However i didn’t know the price we see online is not the actual price of the car. Try adding another $3-$4k to that price for the addendum. That surprised me but we moved forward. At first they didn’t want to give payoff for my trade which other dealerships were willing to pay it off if not give more than what was owed. Eventually they allowed for more than payoff. They worked really hard on this deal and tried to make it happen. I had a set pre approval and wasn’t able to meet them where they needed me to be. I tried one more bank near the end to see if i could get approved (which i did) however while im on the phone i see people leaving. I didn’t realize they close at 7. I thought they were open until 8 that’s on me. While im on the phone with my bank i look up and see my rep bringing me the car to my trade and basically saying we can try on Monday if you get the amount needed. The sales manager and everyone had left. This really caught me off guard as I’ve never seen a dealership completely close down while someone is actively working a deal and trying to get approved. I use to work at the Automall and they would stay hours afterwards to make sure you got what you needed and to get the deal done. The more i have thought about this the more it felt like a slap in the face that they didn’t think i could make it happen. I fell in love with a car here and tried every avenue possible to make this deal happen for me but after everyone just leaving im not sure I’ll be back. Again they were all very knowledgeable and kind but after being left while trying to make this happen just left a bad taste in my mouth. Then i found out from my sister in law that she tried to take her car there to be serviced and they told her to take it back to lumberton Honda where she bought it. I thought a Honda was a Honda. I truly don’t know if I’ll be coming back to this dealership.”
