“I want to start by saying I really like my 2025 Kia Sorento X-Line, and I’m satisfied with the price I negotiated. Unfortunately, my experience with Kia Elk Grove after the purchase has been frustrating and disappointing.
There were multiple issues with the initial paperwork:
• My email address and phone number were entered incorrectly, which made it difficult to verify my identity for services I signed up for and for my bank loan.
• The original paperwork listed the wrong lender, which had to be corrected later.
• After discovering these errors the same evening I got home and reviewed the digital paperwork, I called daily and did not receive a response for three days.
About four weeks after purchase, I encountered a serious issue. The battery on the vehicle was dead, and when I went to open the hood to jump-start it, I discovered that the hood release lever was missing (see photos attached) or not installed, making it impossible to open the hood.
Over the next three days, I called Kia Elk Grove at least nine times. Each time, I spoke with someone who took my message and said it would be forwarded to the appropriate person, but no one ever contacted me.
Kia Roadside Assistance came out but could not help because the hood could not be opened. The only option offered was to tow the vehicle to the dealership. I then participated in a three-way call with roadside assistance and the dealership to coordinate the tow. Once the dealership representative learned there would be a towing fee, they said they were not authorized to approve it and that someone would get back to me. It has now been 7 days and no one has followed up.
At that point, I had to resolve the situation myself. After securing a rental, I researched the missing hood release lever, found the correct part number on my own, and drove 60 miles to Kia Roseville, who had the part in stock. Their staff was very helpful and professional, and they were able to assist without delays.
I like the vehicle, but the lack of attention to detail, poor follow-up, and inadequate post-sale support were extremely disappointing. I hope dealership management takes this feedback seriously, as this experience fell well short of expectations.”

“Oh my goodness!! Brandon was the best at elk Grove Kia !! I decided to lease a new telluride and I am absolutely in love with my vehicle? Maybe it’s just me, but I truly had the best experience there. Brandon was unbelievably fantastic and easy to work with as was everybody else in the dealership I just purchased my car three days ago and I’ve already told the whole world about it!!! Go to the dealership we’re considering is a great car so far I love it”
