“Sales / Business center of Car Max was great. I got an amazing trade in offer & Fernie (sales person) did a great job finding me a Tesla Model 3. He helped me through the entire process from start to finish. Now the part that most people want to hear…. The service center needs works. They apparently do a “quality” check of the vehicle prior to it being sold. Well it’s been two weeks since I bought the vehicle & a Power Train Service light is up on my dash. Sounds like there wasn’t a true check completed. So I put a high dollar amount for a down payment, trade in a working non-issued truck, and get a vehicle that wasn’t properly inspected. I then call the service center and they can not see me until Sept 26th. So imagine the inconvenience. I ask if they can at least provide a loaner so I do not cause any more damage to the vehicle prior to the service date and they said they can not. It would need to be brought in first. Luckily for me, there is a Tesla Service Center in El Paso that can see me on Sept 16th. So folks, roll the dice.”

“I have removed my 1 star review due to the outstanding customer service Ms. Brianna Saenz provided. She is the service manager at Car Max, and you can tell she loves her job. She was extremely helpful, and was quick to to provide a solution to my issue on my car. Good people here”

“The entire experience was outstanding! I found the vehicle I had been looking for and Orlando (Luna) assisted me with the process, which was quick and easy! He gave me the numbers upfront, the different options I had for the purchase, and gave me a run down of their gap and warranty coverages. Once I made the decision, I called him up and he came in on his day off to get the paperwork done. I went home and his boss sent a Lyft to pick me up when the car was ready, about an hour later! Got there, signed my contract in less than 10 minutes and was out the door with my new car! No unnecessary waiting, haggling, or BS. He got it done quickly! This was definitely not a regular car dealership experience, it was so much better! I can’t say enough about Orlando and his leadership team! He deserves a raise or a bonus for making the experience painless!”

“Chris Byrd deserves all the credit in making sure my purchase experience went smooth. However upon leaving the dealership I pulled down my passenger visor and noticed it was shattered. I messaged the salesman immediately (Alex) he said he would make sure it was taken care of. Days passed we didn’t hear anything from anyone I messaged him again and he said someone was trying to call which was a lie no one reached out. I called the service department who confirmed an order was never put in and I spoke with Joanne. I emailed her the pics as instructed she said she would call me back. She never called me back. I then asked a family member who is a mechanic at carmax and he instructed me to speak to a supervisor. I called for a supervisor and Joanne did say she put in an order for the part. But here we are 3 weeks later and still no solution. This is a learning experience to fully inspect every inch of a vehicle when purchasing and before leaving. Now I regret maxcare purchase if this is how they handle service calls. Very unprofessional I won’t be a returning customer.”
