“I came across a 2019 Ford Transit Connect listed by West Lake Imports on Facebook Marketplace for $19,999. I messaged to ask why it was priced nearly $6,000 over retail value (screenshot attached) and whether they were negotiable. Instead of giving any explanation, Kenny responded with a snarky remark telling me to “buy one for $9,000.” This kind of dismissive and unprofessional response says a lot about how they treat potential buyers. If West Lake Imports’ model is to significantly overprice vehicles and then mock or dismiss legitimate questions, I would strongly recommend avoiding them. Transparency and respect should be the standard in car sales — unfortunately, that was not my experience here. This is an add-on to the original review to respond to Kenny, which took him 3 months to. You all have the screenshot of the conversation. I never talked "over the phone." I never came up with the $9k price, that was Kenny. I was just asking a simple question while looking at the KBB Retail pricing for their particular van. It should be noted that I had that the van pop back up 2+ months after messaging them and it was discounted but still not sold. I guess they don't price it in the "Top 3 Least Expensive" across the board. Thank you for the best wishes on the search. I did purchase one with 50k less miles than yours for under $20k. I recommend you don't lie, be courteous to customers, and price your vehicles fairly.”
