“Joe Speedy Martinez was our sales guy. Speedy was his name and Speedy was his game. Told him what I wanted and he gave me options. Manager Johnny was the one who said take it home and see if you like it. Was in and out within the hr. When it was time to come sign the paperwork Natalie in Finance made it easy and explained what my payments would be. That was a little longer but only because she was other people but still a smooth transition. Thank you VW family.”

“Service department is a joke. My Atlas has been in the shop at least 2-4 times since July. Rey has been our advisor every time. Most of the mechanical issues have been resolved except my daytime head lights which was mentioned every time to Rey. He reassured us he would call us once they come in but didn't have an ETA because it was supposedly a backorder issue. The most recent visit, Rey forgot to collect our deductible for our extended warrant, so he called my husband. My husband went in to pay a week or two later because we live out of town. When my husband was there he asked for an update on the lights. The lady called and spoke with the parts department. And they told her that they actually had two pairs for us and one pair had actually been there since July and the other pair was received in November. Rey FAILED to call us even though he reassured us every single time it that my vehicle was there. Tonight, he was quick to blame others for his lack of communication and following through with his duties. We asked if we have to pay another deductible for the lights to be put in and he told us we have to pay no matter what because of the warranty. I was upset and said this isn't right for us to pay if the lights have been here since July and November. He said "I'm barking up the wrong tree" I'm not sure what's more embarrassing that he referred to me as a dog or this multi billion dollar company needs my $50 more. It's a shame that we trust these people with our vehicles and expect them to do the right thing and take care of us especially purchasing a vehicle from them.”

“Update 12/09/2025: same 5-Star Service! We took our Atlas in for Recall for engine cover and brakes. Ray's (Maintenance Manager's) Team ordered the engine cover and also conveyed there was a TSB for the valve cover. Readily checked the brakes and they were ok! The TSB, taken care of immediately and we had our tires rotated. Outstanding service all around. Volkswagen of Corpus Christi your folks are an Outstanding Team! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Our experience with Volkswagen of Corpus Christi is and was Outstanding! From Joe "Speedy" Martinez to Natalie our finance person...we couldn't have asked for a more precious Team. Joe was extremely accommodating when test-driving the VW vehicles. Sincerely patient with us and answered our questions thoroughly. We've never been dissatisfied with the VW product line. From our daughter's Jetta, our last Tiguan, and now our Atlas SE. Great Job Joe and Natalie! And thank you Volkswagen of Corpus Christi!!!🙌🙏❤️🌹🇺🇸👏”

“Edit: They "take this seriously" and want to "investigate further" yet still no one has even bothered to follow up with me. They just responded to my review to save face publicly without even trying to address the problem. I will seek my solution from the appropriate legal and regulatory channels. --- I urge anyone considering this dealership to proceed with extreme caution. As a first-time buyer, I was given multiple verbal assurances that turned out to be completely unsupported. The moment I attempted to clarify these discrepancies, the dealership simply stopped responding. The lack of accountability has been astounding. From the beginning, the experience felt deceptive. We were invited in first thing in the morning to see a specific vehicle we had discussed the night before. We arrived exactly when instructed, only to be told—without any prior notice—that the car had already been “sold.” No call, no message, nothing. And the way we were immediately redirected to other vehicles made the entire situation feel scripted, as though the original car was never truly available. Pete, the salesperson assisting us, repeatedly stated—clearly and in front of witnesses—that the cars came with a “3-month or 3,000-mile guarantee.” I asked several times because I was comparing their offer to Autonation’s money-back guarantee. He insisted their guarantee was better and said I could even have the car inspected by my own mechanic beforehand. These statements were central to my decision to purchase. Once we reviewed the contract, however, it became clear that **no such guarantee existed at all**. My own research confirmed that VW of CC does not offer anything like that at all. It appears that the salesperson’s statements were simply false—presented as fact to secure the sale. When we reached out to Pete for an explanation, he went silent. When I escalated to the general manager, Jeremy, I was ignored as well. No one has taken responsibility for the misinformation given to me. I’ve had the car for barely a week, and issues are already appearing. I believe I was misled through outright false statements, and I believe this conduct violates consumer-protection laws. We are preparing to move forward through the appropriate legal and regulatory channels. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this dealership get *every promise in writing* and scrutinize every document. In my experience, the dealership relied on false claims to obtain the sale and then refused to respond when confronted about it.”
