âMy check engine light came on and the code it was throwing was for an Ambient Temp sensor so I contacted the dealership to get it looked at. I took my car in & they confirmed that the temp sensor needed to be replaced & they had to order the part as itâs a special ordered part. John, who claims to be the service manager, told me that it would be covered under warranty and no charge to me. I take my car in a few weeks later to get it âfixedâ, and after waiting for about an hour & a half, he comes to get me and states the following âit will actually be an $120 charge, it is not covered under warranty.â I immediately questioned him & said âYou told me it was under warranty so whereâs this $120 coming from?â he got real snippy and said i should âbe grateful because he gave me a significant discount and he didnât know who told me thatâ keep in mind⊠HE is the one who told me it was covered under warranty. Fast forward, the next day my check engine light is on again for the same exact thing and still is on, my dash is reading the weather outside anywhere from 100°-140°F in the middle of winter⊠I reached out to John and explained what was going on, and he told me âit might have changed from fahrenheit to celsiusâ (he typed this message to me in all caps) i reassured him that is not the case, I have a picture of it for proof. He then said âit might need to be calibratedâ. At this point, iâm frustrated because of him originally lying to me, being snippy and passive aggressive, and the part STILL not being fixed after charging me $120 the previous day. I asked when i could bring it back in, he gave me days i was not available so i asked for other days & he ghosted me. No response still to this day. I am convinced they did not change the part but still charged me for it. Thankfully, i bought my car from the Dublin dealership which is where i will be going from now on, but just a warning to others to triple check everything with them.â

âI had an amazing experience at Great Lakes Hyundai of Columbus. After my car unexpectedly broke down, the process of finding a new one was extremely stressful, but from the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and taken care of.
Ben was incredibly helpful and made the entire process easy from start to finish. There was absolutely no pressure at any point, and I genuinely felt like he cared about helping me find the right car rather than just making a sale. He went out of his way to get me a better deal than anything I had been offered through car search apps and gave me advice he did not have to. That really meant a lot and made me feel confident in my decision.
Fern handled the paperwork and made sure I understood everything I was signing. She explained things clearly, gave helpful advice, and made the process smooth and stress free. She was very personable and made the experience feel comfortable and welcoming.
The entire team helped turn what started as a very stressful situation into a great experience. I had an incredible experience with Great Lakes Hyundai Columbus from start to finish. Ness, the GM, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of when I ordered my 2026 Palisade Calligraphy Edition Hybrid. He paired me with Zach Dials, who absolutely exceeded every expectation. Zachâs product knowledge was outstandingâhe knew everything about this brand-new body style and the hybrid system inside and out, which gave me complete confidence in my purchase.
The financing department, with Fern, was just as impressive. She made the entire process smooth, seamless, and easy to follow, explaining everything clearly along the way.
