“Extremely disappointing service experience at Priority Hyundai.
I scheduled a recall repair eight weeks in advance and confirmed that the required parts had been received. I also requested a necessary software update while the vehicle was there. I left my car at the dealership for four days, expecting both issues to be resolved.
When I returned to pick up the vehicle, I was told that only the software update had been completed. The recall repair was not done because the parts that were supposedly ordered for my vehicle had been used for someone else. What is most frustrating is that no one informed me of this during the four days my vehicle was sitting there. A simple phone call on day one or two would have allowed me to make other arrangements.
Instead, I had to rearrange my entire weekend, put my three kids in a much smaller vehicle, and absorb lost time and income from my small business. Time away from clients directly impacts my livelihood, and this situation could have been avoided with basic communication and accountability.
Now I have to reschedule the repair, take more time off, and go through the same inconvenience again. I understand that parts shortages happen, but failing to communicate and mismanaging reserved parts is unacceptable. I expected better organization and customer care.
I understand a shortage of parts but please make it make sense. I was told the part was available. My car was there for four days and then you guys realize you dont have the part. Let's work on organization, customer service, and communication over there.”
