She pulled up vehicle after vehicle for me to text drive. And, it was 5 degrees out! She didn't talk to me like I was a "dumb girl" either! “So I had previously bought three or four cars from team one over the years and decided not to ever get a car from them again. It’s been quite a few years, probably 20 years so I decided I needed a car and they had one that I wanted. I couldn’t really remember why I didn’t want to go back so I figured I would give them another shot.
I bought a 2025 Equinox sept 2024. Sales did a great job. But since then I had two issues that were covered under warranty a few oil changes and every time I go into the service department, I’m given an attitude and they treat me like I’m not important and they’re in a hurry to get me out of there.
So I had an oil change scheduled, and my front camera had a cracked lens. The guy at the counter seemed frustrated and told me that they would have to order the camera and it would be $971 installed. I requested them to order it.
The next day after my oil change, my check engine light came on my OnStar was saying something about the throttlebody and transmission. I asked if I could come back and get the codes ran they had me come back on Saturday.. They showed me the codes and I asked I’ve curiosity. Is this OK to drive until I can get it in?. The gentleman at the desk threw me the paper with codes and said if you know how to read this you tell me if it’s safe to drive and give me an attitude I believe his name was Wayne. I was really aggravated by this, but I let it go and left.
A few weeks later, I call to see the status of the camera. They acted like they knew nothing about it. They found the camera did get ordered and I asked about getting a loaner car. They now call them rentals every dealership I’ve ever been to has given me a loaner car when I bought a brand new vehicle and needed repair work regardless if it was #Warranty or not but now they wanted to charge me $46 and they were just giving me attitude..
I called my salesman and told him I remembered why I never wanted to come back and I won’t be coming back this summer to buy my daughter a car mainly because their service department and treated poorly. That sales guy tried to do some work with management and nothing came of it. The most he could offer me was an apology.
I called a few other big Chevy dealerships in the area and was able to find a dealership that would order me the camera and install it for 700 and some change basically $800 and offered me a loaner/rental. All I had to do was put a security deposit that I would get back.. I’ve never bought a car from this dealership and they are treating me better than the dealership that I bought a $40,000 vehicle from . Not only was team one trying to charge me $211 more and $46 for a rental. The customer service was horrible. I will always remember why now never to buy a car from there.”
