“Do not come here. I am not being hyperbolic when I say this is the worst treatment I have ever received from a dealership. If there were ever a dealership that fit the stereotype of “used car salesmanship,” this would be it. They bait-and-switch.
On February 21, I negotiated a lease deal for a 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited in person with another dealership. When it came time to sign the paperwork, that dealership had sold the color I wanted. So, immediately afterward, I contacted Hyundai Carson and one other dealership to see if either would match the agreed-upon deal.
I spoke directly with the sales manager at Hyundai Carson, Niles, who told me he would work on the numbers. I then received a text message from the dealership confirming that they had spoken with the manager and that the deal would be matched, stating that "it is doable". I was explicitly told that if I came in that day or the next morning, they would honor the deal. I called back and received a second verbal confirmation.
Based on those assurances, I left a personal appointment and drove over an hour to the dealership. When I arrived, Niles had already left. The salesperson assigned to me then presented a deal that was $80 more per month than what had been confirmed in writing.
I calmly explained that this felt like a bait‑and‑switch and that it was not an appropriate way to treat a customer. The salesperson then told me, verbatim, “You are not a customer because you have not purchased anything yet.”
At that point, I left. Another dealership later honored the original quote without issue. This was a complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.”

“We visited Carson Hyundai for the first time because our usual location, Torrance South Bay Hyundai, didn’t have availability. We left with very mixed emotions.
On the positive side, Richard and his colleague truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They were professional, attentive, and did their best to ensure we had a good experience despite a very chaotic morning at the dealership.
Unfortunately, our interactions with advisor Gio and sales clerk Ana were the complete opposite. Their demeanor came across as rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming for most of our visit. At times, we genuinely felt like we were a burden rather than customers. It was honestly some of the most uncomfortable customer service we’ve experienced.
That said, we also want to acknowledge that it was clearly a very stressful situation for the staff — there was a storm, the dealership had just moved into the building, there were construction issues, leaks, and even power outages while they were trying to help multiple customers. We understand how challenging that must have been.
Overall, it was a very odd experience. We’re grateful for Richard’s exceptional service, but because of the inconsistent treatment, we’re unsure whether we would return.”

“I had a very disappointing experience at Hyundai Carson, specifically with the manager, Vince.
We finalized a deal with a confirmed price directly from him. Based on that agreement, our credit history was run and all required documents were collected. After completing everything on our end, the base price was suddenly changed. This felt extremely misleading and in bad faith.
We were also made to wait for nearly an hour without clear communication, only to be told the numbers were different from what was originally agreed upon. The advertised special offer on the Hyundai Carson website was not honored, which was very frustrating.
The overall behavior was unprofessional, and there was no higher manager available to address our concerns. It was one of the worst car-buying experiences we’ve had.
Please be very careful when dealing with this dealership, and especially with manager Vince.”

“Workers and sales staff were very friendly and the buying process felt smooth. However, I was told the car had no cosmetic defects before purchase. After buying, I noticed paint chips on the hood and mentioned it to my sales rep, but was told any repair would be out of pocket. That was disappointing and made me feel like my concern did not matter once the sale was done. I still appreciate the staff, but I wish this had been disclosed and handled better.”

Shout out to Sean and Mike for the Infiniti help. You guys are amazing.”
